SEATING MANAGERIAL / CONFERENCE AL 6300-6301 Series - ACUITY Seat Height Adjustment-7 – Allows you to adjust the seat so feet meet the floor or a stable footrest, but is high enough that knees are below hips. Raising = Lift your weight off the seat and pull up on the back lever (7); releasing when desired height is achieved. Lowering = While seated, lift up on the back lever (7); releasing when desired height is achieved. Seat Depth Adjustment-3 – Seat pan adjustment can address the needs of multiple users, achieved by backrest adjustability in-out, or a sliding seat pan. Hips and thighs should be well supported. Adjust = Lift some weight off the seat, pressing the tab (3) as you move the seat forward or backward; releasing when desired position is achieved. Seat Tilt Lock-8 –Synchro movement of backrest and seat pan may reduce lower back load. Seat tilt is not an independent feature on this model. Adjust = Recline and tilt are adjusted with a single slider. Slide lever (8) forward to lock, slide the lever (8) back and the recline tension gradually decreases. Back Angle-2 – Seat and back follow natural, healthy movements of user’s body in upright and reclined positions. Weight-activated tension prevents the user from feeling off balance or unsupported during recline. As you recline, the flexible back moves at a different rate allowing it to change shape and stay in contact with the lumbar region of your back and give needed support.

Tilt Tension -9 – Will increase or decrease the amount of effort needed to recline in the chair. If there is too much play within the backrest, tighten for desired support and safety. Adjust = Weight activated mechanism automatically adjusts to your body weight, providing comfort without the need to manually adjust.

Arm Adjustment-4 & 5 – Reduces the work of the shoulders and upper arms. Height, width and pivoting adjustable padded armrests provide the most features. Support should be provided for the forearms, not just the elbows. Height Adjust = Lift up on lever (4) to raise or lower arms, releasing to set when desired position is achieved. Depth/Width Adjust = Press thumb-button (5) and slide arm pad in or out to adjust for width and release. Pivot Adjust = Twist front of arm pad inward or outward to desired position. No buttons required.
