1. Unpack chassis and inspect unit Immediately call 800-449-4539 for Customer Support if damaged 2. Place chassis into NEMA enclosure - insure the large and smaller chassis holes are oriented correctly with the case’s holes INSERT AND TIGHTEN THE 4 CHASSIS MOUNTING SCREWS 3. Using the screws saved from the removal of the chassis Insert and hand tighten the 4 chassis mounting screws to attach chassis to enclosure 4. Open the digital upgrade antenna package and find the sealing compound gel capsule Apply this sealing compound to the bottom of the digital antenna gasket ORIENT THE LARGE HOLES APPLY SEALING COMPOUND TO ANTENNA GASKET [ supplied with antenna ] 5. Thread antenna cable through the case and chassis LOCKWASHER DO NOT ALLOW THE ANTENNA TO ROTATE WHILE TIGHTENING HEX NUT NOTE: Do not bend antenna cable more than a 45 angle while installing ANTENNA HEX NUT 6. Slip lockwasher over the cable 7. Attach antenna connector to AlarmAgent circuit board by screwing connector on the radio connector 8. Insert antenna through case Slip hex nut over cable Screw hex nut on antenna and tighten ANTENNA RADIO CONNECTION IMPORTANT To avoid damage to the antenna ‘o’ ring - hold antenna firmly when tightening hex nut Do not allow antenna to rotate. CUSTOMER SUPPORT 1-800-449-4539 AlarmAgent - Outdoor RTU [NEMA] Installation - digital upgrade - aacs6 - 1 PLASTIC HEX NUT BATTERY BRACKET 9. Insert strain relief through the case and chassis 10. Install battery bracket onto strain relief Secure with plastic hex nut STRAIN RELIEF 11. Reinstall field wiring and terminal connectors CHANGE BATTERY JUMPER TO CONNECT BACKUP BATTERY use the previousely filled out wiring diagram 12. Change battery jumper to connect the backup battery REINSTALL TERMINAL CONNECTORS AND WIRING 14.
