ALIEN LULLABIES - FIONA SOE PAING TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Email - [email protected] Phone - 07527 154231 DESCRIPTION of PERFORMANCE Running Time: 50 minutes Number of performers - One vocalist The performance is a combination of a cinema type screening and a live gig - projected animation and audio soundtrack, with a live onstage vocalist. GENERAL OPERATION The visuals and audio soundtrack are run from a .mov quicktime movie file supplied by the artist. Can be run either from the artist's iPod Touch or the venue's computer/laptop if available (computer needs to have quicktime installed). If no venue computer is available, artist's iPod is linked to the house projector via VGA cable and to the audio mixing desk via 2 x standard jack or phono sockets. (VGA Adaptor and audio cable provided by artist) The live vocals are processed onstage through artist's Macbook Pro and Apogee audio interface, via 2 standard jack sockets. A large projection screen needs to be set up centrally behind the performance area, with a vocal mic + stand slightly to one side of the screen. The venue needs to have a blackout capability for visuals. ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS , TO BE PROVIDED AT VENUE BLACKOUT CAPABILITY IN VENUE VENUE COMPUTER/LAPTOP IF AVAILABLE ( MUST HAVE QUICKTIME INSTALLED) ALSO 1. Good quality video projector with VGA cable, accessible from mixing desk. 2. Large projection screen, or plain white surface behind the performance area. 3. House PA system 4. Foldback monitor for vocalist 5. Audio mixer - minimum 4 mono or 2 stereo channels 6. Vocal microphone + stand. 7. 2 x onstage D.I. sockets 8. Onstage power point House laptop or desktop computer if available, installed with Quicktime to run .mov file ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS If possible, a white spotlight for vocalist Small table VARIATIONS Show can be scaled up/down to suit venue requirements - can be performed in an intimate cabaret style set-up, mid-sized concert venues, or scaled up for presentation in a cinema, where a DCP file will be provided by the artist. For cinema performances, the vocalist's live performance will be mixed into the audio soundtrack of the film, and additional PA equipment/mixer will be required for vocals.
