New! WIN-PAK PRO Central Station WIN-PAK PRO Central Station features numerous benefits, including:
Honeywell Access Systems is introducing its latest new product release of WIN-PAK PRO Central Station, an extension of the WIN-PAK PRO access control software. WIN-PAK PRO Central Station builds upon the original technology by automating many day-to-day operations, saving companies time and money. Like its predecessor, WIN-PAK PRO Central Station helps operators manage security systems in multiple locations by integrating the components into one user interface. This latest technology does not require computer software at the end-user location and the need for enduser software training. Additional monitoring capabilities will increase recurring monthly revenues and decrease the need for field service and training.
• A Web browser interface that simplifies daily
tasks, such as adding and deleting security credentials, generating history reports and defining access levels. • Remote Digital Video Monitoring, which makes it
easy to track alarms and events from remote locations • Save time and money by reducing service calls.
Make all programming and system changes from a central station or remote location. • The ability to create customized reports and
send them automatically via fax or email to any end-user • Automatic notification from the program when an
alarm has been tripped at any site • Increase Recurring Monthly Revenues by
monitoring Access Control alarms and events, Managing Photo-ID Badges and generating automated reports for your customers • WIN-PAK PRO Central Station runs on Windows®
XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server For more information about the WIN-PAK PRO Central Station, please contact your local Honeywell dealer, or visit www.honeywellaccess.com.

Used together, Win750 and N-750 provide integrated intrusion alarm monitoring and access control capabilities in a single format. The technology enables operators to save valuable time because only one system needs to be programmed. It also helps customers save money by allowing them to manage multiple accounts and services from a remote location. Win750 is the perfect complement to N-750. The N-750 provides the reliable hardware while Win750 serves as an effective managing tool. This is a winning combination for improving your entire access control system and for making integration easier. The system is ideal for both small applications and large, multi-tenant buildings. Among other things, the system can manage several accounts over a TCP/IP network and features a virtual touchpad that can be used to remotely add or remove users and arm or disarm the system. With Win750, many of N-750’s functions can be monitored or controlled from a computer screen, including the system’s ability to: • Generate Reports on facility and personnel activity • Reduce installation costs by managing multiple accounts through a single control panel • True system integration allows users to: • Arm and disarm with a security card • Open, lock or unlock doors with a control touchpad • Bypass or unbypass alarms and events with a card • Report access control and intrusion events to a central station • Reduce false alarms by preventing door access when the system is armed N750 is a centrally-monitored system that integrates access and intrusion controls. It offers stand-alone security or seamless integration with access control. For more information about Win750, please contact your local Honeywell dealer or visit www.honeywellaccess.com. Tech Tips Tip #1: How can I add cards to the N-750 if I do not know the site code of the cards?
Tip #2: How do I Download to an N-750 Control Panel for the first time?
You will need to Bulk Load the cards. To Bulk Load cards a reader must be connected to an N-750-PAIT.
The first download to a panel needs to be initiated from a PAIT. Once all has been programmed then you need to set a download PENDING on the queued task screen by going to PanelDownload then highlighting the panel and clicking OK. The queued task screen will display a Requested Download Pending. At this point go to a PAIT and follow these steps:
With the reader connected to the PAIT, 1) Press 7 followed by the USER CODE and then ENTR 2) Select Option 2 (Bulk Load) Detailed information on bulk loading cards is available in the N-750 Installation Manual (TD1084), Chapter 3, Page 3-13. 3) Enter a USER PROFILE number and then ENTR At this point, the PAIT will display one of two things depending on how old the panel installed is. - Some Older panels will display “Card for ID#”
1. Press <4>
<+> installer code (default is 1234). 2. At the menu select: <1> for internal phone. This option is for downloading via the phone lines. <2> for modem. With this type of communication, a Hayes compatible modem is connected to the N-750-PI panel, and the PC for faster data transmission. <3> for direct. This option is used for direct connection to the N-750 to the computer using a null modem cable (both the PC and N-750 panel are on site. 3. If 2 was selected in step three you will be prompted to select the Comm PI Device (just hit 1) then it will prompt you for a phone number. If 1 was selected in step 3 then it will prompt you for phone number right away. Type in the phone #, hit ENTER and go to step 6. 4. If 3 was selected, it will prompt for the Comm PI Device (just hit 1) and go to step 6. 5. It will now prompt you for Account Number. Type in the account/panel number that you entered when first programming in the panel through the software and hit ENTER. The panel will now attempt to communicate. If it was successful, the panel will reinitialize which should take a few seconds (DO NOT POWER PANEL DOWN during reinitialization) and the requested download on the pc will go from Pending to Processed.
- Most panels will display “Enter Site # 0” 4) Press 0 followed the ENTR key 5) Enter the card slot. The card slot is only a placeholder from 1-1800 that holds the card data. Enter the number, making sure that it is already not in use by the system and press ENTR Hint: If you are not sure of the slot number, it is recommended to use a number in the 1600-1800 range. 6) Present or swipe the card through the reader that is connected to the PAIT you are working at. If the card is accepted, the PAIT will give a success beep and auto increment to the next card slot Number. 7) Upload the panel to the ACAS or Win750 software and look under the user tab to see the displayed site code for the card(s) that you just entered.
If the above numbered steps are done without a download pending in the queue then an Unsolicited upload (data in panel is sent to PC from the PAIT) will be processed and displayed on the queued task screen.
