Exposed Back Bracket Design* The Exposed Back Bracket design is standard when the Aloe backrest is specified in IC+. The Aloe exposed bracket design allows the backrest to be completely sealed when upholstered in IC+. Ideal for areas where infection control and cleanability is essential, liquids, pathogens and bed bugs are prevented from entering the backrest structure. The Exposed Bracket Backrest design can be specified for other upholstery options, however the required sewn seams of alternative upholstery products can expose the external backrest structure to liquids, pathogens and bed bugs. IC+ upholstery can also be specified in the standard backrest design and must be highlighted at time of order to ensure accuracy.

A highly durable and impermeable upholstery coating, IC+ forms a seamless moisture-proof barrier that completely seals underneath the seat pan. IC+ stands up to all hospital cleaners including, but not limited to, Virox 5, Rescue, CaviCide, Wex-Cide and bleach.
