Altai DAS WiFi AP Patented Altai Super WiFi Technologies for Indoor 3G Offload Field-proven Coverage Similar to 3G While just connecting an AP directly to a DAS cannot work properly, the Altai patent pending DAS WiFi system and technologies are specially engineered for integrating WiFi into a DAS network. The WiFi signals travel along the cable as far as the 3G signals and cover close to the same footprint as the 3G system, and travel further, and with better coverage and throughput as compared to standard AP.
Altai DAS WiFi AP With patented Altai Super WiFi Technologies, the Altai DAS WiFi Access Point is designed to work with any Distributed Antenna System (DAS) originally built for 3G/CMDA/GSM, where the 3G and WiFi signal can be carried over the same antenna network inside a building and provide 3G and WiFi coverage to all the clients at the same time. The DAS WiFi solution can easily reduce the costs and the times for both deployment and maintenance in implementing 3G data offload as compared to building a separate WLAN network.
No Impact to Existing 3G Network The all-in-one patent pending product design for the DAS WiFi AP comes with an integrated dualband combiner which makes installation simple. It will not affect the 3G signals passing through even in case of power failure. Combination with A8n Super WiFi Base Station The Altai DAS WiFi AP provides the most cost effective and versatile way to provide indoor 3G/WiFi capacity, coverage and time-todeploy. When combined with the A8n Super WiFi Base Station, it creates the most cost-effective high capacity WiFi network for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The DAS WiFi AP is capable of providing the highest possible data throughput and capacity that the 802.11n standards can offer, and at the same time is backward compatible to the 802.11b/g standards. The DAS WiFi AP employs the smart antenna combining technology, where 3G/CDMA/GSM and WiFi signals can be transmitted over the same RF cable. The high isolation between the cellular and WiFi bands causes insignificant impact to the original 3G system. Super Long Range DAS Coverage Access Range Data Rate
Support 40 DAS antennas 150 Mbps
As an integral part of our Super WiFi network infrastructure, the Altai DAS WiFi AP provides:
Field-proven integration into existing 3G/CDMA/GSM Distributed Antenna System (DAS)
IP-67 rated carrier grade weatherproof enclosure for both outdoor and indoor applications
3G data offload – by adding WiFi to existing 3G network
Easy installation & web-based management
2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n high throughput radio up to 150 Mbps data rate
Cause insignificant impact to existing 3G system due to a high isolation and low insertion loss dual-band combiner
Integrated combiner for all-in-one simple installation, supports 3G pass through in case of power failure
