ALTV915DC4CB - Variable Output CCTV Camera & Accessory Power Supply Overview: The Altronix ALTV915DC4CB CCTV Power Supply is designed with four (4) individually circuit breaker protected outputs for powering CCTV Cameras and other video accessories. It will provide 9VDC to 15VDC distributed via four (4) circuit breaker protected outputs with a total of 2.5 amps continuous supply current. Specifications: • 9VDC to 15VDC pot adjustable (factory set at 12VDC). • Four (4) individually circuit breaker protected outputs. • 2.5 amps continuous supply current. • Main fuse is rated at 5 amps / 250VAC (Fig. 1). • Surge protection. • AC input and DC output LED indicator. • Filtered and electronically regulated outputs. • Power ON/OFF switch. • Spare fuses included. • Unit maintains camera synchronization. • Ease of installation saves time and eliminates costly labor. Mount ALTV915DC4CB in desired location. 2. Connect 16.5VAC 40VA (Model TP1640) transformer to terminals marked [XFMR IN] (Fig. 1) Note: Larger transformers may be used provided they do not exceed an output rating of 28VAC. 3. Set the ALTV915DC4CB to desired DC output voltage by connecting a voltmeter to one of the outputs and turning the turning the trim pot [VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT] clockwise to increase the output Fig. 1 voltage and counter clockwise to decrease the output voltage. Note: It is good operating practice to measure output voltage before connecting devices. CAUTION: Determine the maximum operating voltage of the equipment being powered before adjusting the output voltage. 4. Switch SW1 (Fig. 1) to OFF position. 5. Connect each DC CCTV cameras to terminal marked [+ OUT1 --- to + OUT4 ---] (Fig. 1) carefully observing correct polarity. 6. Switch SW1 (Fig. 1) to ON position. 7. Green LED will illuminate when when unit is powered. 8. Upon completion of wiring, secure enclosure door with screws (supplied). WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. This installation should be made by qualified service personnel and should conform to all local codes and in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
