USB and PS/2 KVM Switching Built for SMB Server Room Environments If you are tasked with providing multi-platform support but have limited rack space in your SMB server room, help has arrived. A new series of Fujitsu KVM switches provides support for your USB and/or PS/2 keyboards and mice. The Fujitsu analog KVM switch also provides support for USB, PS/2 and Sun® targets. Designed to fit your SMB server room environment are the single-user, 8-port and the single-user, 16-port Fujitsu switches. Each switch includes a convenient on-screen display (OSD) that allows for easy configuration and quick server selection. The Fujitsu switch series includes two unique cabling options. Integrated access cables offer USB connectivity for server room environments with flexible cabling lengths of 2.14 and 3 meters between the target device and the switch. The server interface module, with PS/2, USB and Sun support, provides up to 30.48 meters between the target device and the switch with your existing cabling infrastructure. Both cabling options automatically assign and retain unique server names for each attached server, which simplifies installation and eases reconfiguration. Intelligent Cabling Server interface modules and integrated access cables automatically assign and retain unique server names for each attached server Powerful User Access Control An administrator can grant KVM access to only certain users and can also limit KVM access to only specific targets on the switch [Data Sheet] Fujitsu Analog KVM Appliances Specifications ORDERING DETAILS PART NUMBER DESCRIPTION Mechanical A3C40120894 Console switch KVM s3-0801, 1U Size: 1.72 in.
