Setup for connecting Scanfob® 2002i via Bluetooth with SerialMagic Using iPad, iPhone, or ipod Touch? Use the reverse side of this sheet. Step 1: Connect Scanfob® 2002i to a powered USB port for about 4 hours. Step 2: Scan SET, SerialMagic – SPP, END, in order from the codes below.

Please find information at http://serialio.com/support/SerialMagic/index.php Step 4: When SerialMagic app is looking for the Scanfob® 2002i, hold the small function button for 5 seconds. The LED will flash blue rapidly. Step 5: Pair the Scanfob® 2002i with your Phone/PC using SerialMagic software (see SerialMagic documentation for more information. Step 6: Scan the codes below, in order, to configure the scanner with the correct start and stop flags.

Setup for connecting Scanfob® 2002i via Bluetooth as a Keyboard Using an iOS device such as an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch? Use this sheet. To use with SerialMagic or SerialMagic Gears, use the reverse side of this sheet. Step 1: Connect Scanfob® 2002i to a powered USB port for about 4 hours. Step 2: Scan SET, Keyboard - HID, END, in order from the codes below.

_ZZ_ END Step 3: Make Scanfob® 2002i discoverable and connectable by holding the small function button for 5 seconds. Step 4: Start Bluetooth discovery from the Phone/PC and pick the Scanfob® scanner when the “Scanfob!...” name is shown on the Phone/PC.
When done using the Scanfob® 2002i, unpair or forget the scanner from your Phone/PC or turn Bluetooth off on that Phone/PC. You can also allow the scanner to timeout on its own. The Scanfob® 2002i has a 3 minute Bluetooth disconnect timer by default. To extend this time, contact Serialio.
