All system tools, software and VMS are safely stored in a RAID 1 mirror on two ultra-fast SSDs. This configuration allows either drive to fail without interrupting normal operation. Additionally, a second layer of protection comes from our disk imaging backup and restoration tool. System restore discs are unnecessary; setting an ANR1 back to factory defaults is as easy as pressing a single key, all without losing any stored video. Enterprise Security

Two big weaknesses common to NVRs are failing power supplies and cooling fans. To counter these weaknesses, the ANR1 has redundant power modules and cooling fans. This gives the ANR1 the ability to have a module or a fan fail without the downtime normally associated with burned out power supplies and lack of cooling.
