It is used as the D/A converter for analog language distribution systems, such as infrared or wired transmission systems, tape- or hard disk recorders etc. The AO 6008 has the following standard features: Each AO 6008 unit provides decoding for up to 8 language channels with 8 analog transformer-isolated XLR outputs. The unit connects anywhere to the DCS-LAN, the same as any other DCS 6000 unit. The AO 6008 provides set up of the desired languages and volume settings, read error status, load/save settings and allows viewing of information about the unit.
