Seal the pins and seal the plug insert using RTV. 2. Make a sealing test. 3. Strip 40 mm from both sides of the DC Cable outer sleeve. 4. Strip 8 mm of insulation from every wire end. 5. Using a proper crimping tool, crimp the cord end terminals (supplied) on the wire stripped tips (four on each cable side). 6. Insert the cable through the connector record parts (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d). 7. At the connector side, insert each wire end terminal to the proper connector contact according to the schematics below. 8. Tight all terminal screws. 9. Assemble the connector. Tight the cable sleeve (1a) and pressing screw (1d) in order to assure sealing. 10. After connecting to the BUC, wrap the sealing tape around both the cable and the mating connector. Strip 40 mm from both sides of the AC Cable outer sleeve. 2. Strip 8 mm of insulation from every wire’s end. 3. Using a proper crimping tool, crimp the cord end terminals (supplied) on the wire stripped tips (four on each cable side). 4. Insert the cable through the connector record parts (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d). 5. At the connector side, insert each wire end terminal to the proper connector contact according to the schematics below. 6. Fasten all terminal screws. 7. In order to assure water drainage, the cable clamp should be pointed down when the plug is connected to the BUC. Rotate the clamp to the right direction before tightening the cable sleeve (1a) and pressing screw (1d). Assure sealing. 8. After connecting to the BUC, wrap the sealing tape around both the cable and the mating connector. CAUTION It is recommended to seal all the connectors on the BUC (i.e. the IF cable connector, the power supply and the M&C) using a sealing tape (such as LeMark PN RT24 or equivalent, see Figure 2-6).
