Notes: 1. Program the radio with KPG-89D, select “Edit” than “Extended function” then “AUX” set input/output ports as follows, pin 8 output “TOR”, pin 12 output “External PTT”, pin 13 input “CH/GID Select A”, pin 20 input “CH/GID Select C” pin 23 input “CH/GID Select B”, pin 24 input “External Monitor” select the “Remote Zone-CH/GID” tab and set desired channels to be selected by the TTC, close the window and write to radio. 2. Program the TTC with the KL3 cable and software, under the “General Parameters” tab, set the COR polarity as low and check the “Enable COR” box then program unit. 3. Jumpers on the TTC are set as follows, JP-1 to pins 2+3, JP-8 to pins 2+3, JP-13 to pins 1+2, JP-14 to pins 1+2, JP-15 open, JP-16 to pins 1+2 and JP-20 to pins 1+2. 4. If 4 channel operation is desired than pin 4, 20, or 22 can be programmed for “CH/GID Select D”, however the DB-25 connector can not be used for programming with KPG-89D.
