With Mini LTO, workgroups can archive full editing projects and terabytes of media assets onto high capacity, high speed LTO tapes. Pre-configured with a fast 4TB RAID 5 storage system, it is ideal for small workgroups and freelance editors that need secure archiving of their media assets.
Its plug and play architecture and the easy-to-use Space Core 3 LTO software means that the need for technical configuration is minimal: MiniSpace LTO simply connects via 1Gb Ethernet ports to be up and running within minutes. GB Labs has engineered the archiving and retrieval process to be fast, user-friendly and reliable.
Class-Leading Handling The 1.5TB / 2.5TB LTO-5 or LTO-6 data tapes are handled with extreme care by MiniSpace LTO: its sustained performance avoids the need to shuttle and scrub the tape over the heads, thereby avoiding damage that threatens its integrity. As a long-term archiving system, MiniSpace LTO writes backup data in the TAR open-source, non-proprietary format, making it inter-operable with other devices and fully future-proofed.
