Recordel' players have long lmovm how limited the amount of music published for ensemble is, Recently the nR~ber of EUl'opean editions for ensemble has increased in this country, but most playe,~s will agree that their needs are still far from being met. The American Recorder Society is ther?fore happy to announce a new service to recorder · playe:;.'s. Through an arrangement .with the publtshe:rs Clark and Wrq, there will be issued every one or two months music for recorder ense:11ble., It will appear in handsome inex:pons·ive editions (approximately sixty cents a copy) and will be c£,1led the 11 American rteco:rdel' society Edition• 11 ARS members r::&y receive copies for about thirty pe:;.' cent less than the l'etail cost. The first two editions in this series are already on the presses· and should be ready fol' distribution at the. next meeting, Tuesday .• 1J'ove1aber 2l.
