Great news! Pregis acquired 3M’s temporary protective films business, commonly known as PolyMask. This includes the Conover, NC manufacturing facility and existing product portfolio. The business will be merged with Pregis’ Surface Guard protective films division. Together these 2 ISO certified manufacturing facilities will be marketed under the name SG PolyMask.

The resources of Surface Guard and PolyMask combined into SG PolyMask will provide unparalleled Quality, Service and Innovation for your temporary surface protection needs. We have a team of regionally located technical sales representatives as well as a dedicated customer service department that are excited to bring your account service to the next level. A few questions that may be on everyone’s mind: Where will the product be made and shipped going forward? All PolyMask products will continue to be manufactured and shipped from Conover, North Carolina with the exception of a limited number of products that will continue to be contract-manufactured in Europe. Will I still have access to all the same PolyMask products? Yes! There are no plans to change the product, item number or specs. We will continue to produce the same products with the existing part numbers. If there are changes down the road, a SG PolyMask Sales or Customer Service representative will work directly with you to ensure there are no gaps in service or performance. When will I start placing orders with SG PolyMask? Starting Feb 1, 2017 all PolyMask protective film customers will begin ordering directly from SG PolyMask. 3M and our team will inform you of additional information and provide specific sales and customer service contact information in the coming weeks, prior to the Feb 1st transition.
