SUMMARY
COMMENTS
Recording on the microSD card is not supported from Latitude. It is recommended that the motion detection be configured and drawn from Admin Center on the Motion Detection tab with a sensitivity around 80.
Record from the web UI.
Privacy Masking that is configured from Admin Center applies only to the specific video stream configured in Latitude. To set a Privacy Zone from the web that will affect all video streams, go to the Streaming > Privacy Zone page on the web UI.
Set the privacy zone from the Streaming > Privacy Zone screen in the web UI.
It is not possible to save a manual recording clip or snapshot.
Run IE as Administrator.
microSD recording does not function when using only MJPEG. The difference in the video quality outside an ROI area is barely noticeable.

39771
Full adaptive streaming (D1 > 720p > 1080p) is currently supported only on 1080p merged configuration and the 1080p & 720p combination when the Use recorded stream in Adaptive streaming checkbox is checked.
40544
The microphone is temporarily inaccessible for a few minutes after the camera is attached to Latitude.
40561
In some cases, the camera generates tampering alerts when the Tampering sensitivity setting is set to Low on the Tampering screen and the lights are turned off or on.
40831
In Adaptive Streaming mode, it takes about 20 seconds to change the frame rate on all three streams.
40913
“Boost upon alarm” (frame rate or resolution) takes about seven seconds.
40914
WDR is displayed as Off when attaching a default state camera, although it is actually turned on.
40234
The quality (encoding priority) changes to 5 (the default is 7) after the camera is attached to Meridian.
40578
On a joint stream configuration, changing the video quality (encoding priority) only affects Stream 1.
42255
In a merged streams configuration, on some cases frame rate changes apply only to the first two streams.
42257
Video on the web flickers occasionally when set on MJPEG.

Appendix
Appendix A.1. Discovering and Configuring the Camera on DNA 2.1.2.4 To operate DNA, copy the DNA.exe file to a folder on a PC and then double-click it. DNA is required to discover the cameras, because the Ariel Gen II camera initializes by default with a DHCP configuration. If a DHCP server is not available in your network, the camera will initialize with the default static IP 192.168.0.250. If you have more than one camera, connect them one at a time and change their IP addresses to avoid potential network conflicts. Refer to the DNA 2.1 User Manual for additional information on working with edge devices.
