Armarac® Modula MX.800 Vertiblade Configuration and Layout The Modula MX is our most flexible module, with many options. The MX is a compact and secure enclosure, with room for server or network infrastructure at distributed locations including UPS, server, routers, switches and patch panels. Quiet and attractive for medical clinics, universities, schools, offices, as well as rugged and secure for airports and industrial plants. A standard MX holds 10U of 19-inch rack equipment in vertical Vertiblade orientation of up to 800mm (32in) deep, and has three more 19-inch patch panel slots at top or bottom, or both. Any combination of 1U, 2U, 3U or 4U Vertiblade panels can be used to make up the 10U total.

Each Vertiblade can carry a max of 44lb (20kg) giving a total loading for the 10U MX of 440lb (200kg). Equipment capacities of 20U and 40U are achieved by vertical or back to back stacking combinations of enclosures, or by using our compact 20U High Density horizontal patch panel. The doors can be removed for ease of installation. The MX.800 is assembled with 5x 2U brackets as standard. Adapter kits are available to change to other Rack Unit sizes

Armarac® Modula MV.650 Vertiblade Configuration and Layout The Modula MV is our small form factor version, housing 5U of 19-inch equipment in a minimal 14 inches depth out from the wall. The MV is an ideal Telecommunications Room solution, with room for a UPS, switches, patch panels, and more. A standard MV holds 5U of 19-inch rack equipment in vertical Vertiblade orientation of up to 650mm (26in) deep, and six additional 19-inch patch panel mounting slots (144 ports) at the side.

Any combination of 1U, 2U or 3U Vertiblade panels can be used to make up the 5U total. Each Vertiblade can carry a max of 44lb (20kg) giving a total loading for the 5U MV of 220lb (100kg). The door can be removed for ease of installation. The MV.650 is assembled with 2x 2U brackets and 1x 1U bracket. Adapter kits are available to change to other Rack Unit sizes

Armarac® Modula MX.800 Vertiblade Operation The Vertiblade is a modular system of panels mounted on a flexible spine for mounting electronic equipment. It can be configured to accommodate many different sizes and types of equipment. A standard Vertiblade spine provides 10U mounting space. It can be configured with any combination of 1U, 2U, 3U and 4U – there are dozens of possible configurations! Ask us if you need more than 10U capacity.
