The ARNTJEN®-LED-LIGHT offers your dairy cows or any lying cow the lighting conditions they need during food consumption and milk production as it provides 150-200 lux of illumination. Your cows will feel more comfortable if your dairy barn is lit properly!

Light control delivering 16 hours of daylight instead of an average of 13.5 hours results in a significant increase in food 1 1 consumption (up to 6%) and milk production (up to 16%) . Part of this result is also a shorter intercalving period (see enclosure "Fertility parameters"). The existing barn lighting caused excessive costs of power, upkeep and repairs. The useful life of the illuminants was relatively short.

We are offering you a new, robust lighting system which is designed specifically for the requirements of agriculture: The new ARNTJEN®-LED-LIGHT consumes, for instance, a thrifty 150 watts instead of the 400 watts that are typical for a conventional, simple HPS lamp (HPS total consumption approx. 500 watts).

Depending on the arrangement of the lamps, this translates to a savings in power, upkeep and repairs of approx. 60-70%.

The useful life of the ARNTJEN®-LED-LIGHT is approx. 50,000 hours of operation. This amounts to approx. 20 years at a run time of 2,500 hrs/p.a. (HPS lamp: approx. 20,000 hours of operation). The lighting system can be controlled using the ARNTJEN-LEDCONTROL-BOX. We or one of our authorized electricians will be happy to install the ARNTJEN®-LED-LIGHT for you using a telescopic boom lift. Your dairy cows can remain in the barn. ARNTJEN®-LED-SIMPLEXLIGHT*
The flexible settings of the LED-TRIPLEX-LAMP make it possible to light the illuminated area much more evenly than with conventional lamps. What is more, ARNTJEN-LED-TRIPLEX-LAMPS can also be dimmed down. When used in night mode, approx. 70% of the lamps can be switched off by means of the ARNTJEN-LED-Control-Box. The remaining 30% of the lamps will be dimmed down to 20%, creating "nighttime" illumination. Other benefits: Savings in energy, maintenance costs, etc. of up to approx. 70%. Requirements: The examples refer to ARNTJEN-LED-LIGHT® / lamps. The installation height of the lamps varies with the model and is specified with 4.50, 6.00 or 8.00 meters. No fixtures should be present that cast a shade. The first step requires that the owner pick the desired level of illumination (see table). Since listing the spacing of the lamps in longitudinal direction, the tables allow you to determine the required number of lamps. The tables provide reference values for the use of ARNTJEN-LED-LIGHT® / lamps in the cubicle barn.

Dairy barn lighting intended to enhance performance requires that the barn be lit evenly with 150-200 lux. Lactating cows need 16 hours of light and 8 hours of darkness. LED lamps are more expensive upfront! LED lamps are slightly more costly than conventional lamps. However, this is only true as far as the purchasing price is concerned.
