Ayvo dock The stylish Ayvo dock is perfect for holding Ayvo when it’s not in use. Normal brush head If you have normal skin, this white brush is ideal for cleansing. Sensitive brush head This gentle brush is designed for exfoliating and for cleansing if you have sensitive skin. The brush is white with a mint green ring. Moisturising head this pad uses a soft spongy latex head to massage moisturiser deep into your skin. 03 Getting Ayvo ready Inserting the batteries Ayvo is powered by four standard 1.5v AA batteries (not included). To insert, locate the battery compartment on the back of Ayvo and remove the lid. Inside you’ll find a removable battery holder. Take the holder out and place four batteries in the spaces provided, taking care to position the batteries correctly by observing the plus (+) and minus (-) signs. Once the batteries are fitted, locate the two circular metal tabs on the side of the holder. These tabs need to connect with the two springs inside the battery compartment. Place the holder inside the compartment so that the metal tabs touch the springs. Push the compartment back inside until it clicks into place. Place the battery cover back over the compartment and click into place. If you struggle to place the cover back on to Ayvo, the battery holder may not be properly secured. 04 Placing on a brush head To place a brush head or the moisturising head on to Ayvo, locate the ring socket on the back of the head and simply place it over the rotator axel on Ayvo and push it on, making sure it is secure on the brush head. Choosing a brush head Ayvo includes brush heads for both normal and sensitive skin users. Remember: Because Ayvo is a personal hygiene product, it is strongly recommend that you do not share a brush or moisturising head with any other users. Looking after Ayvo It’s important to clean the brush heads and the moisturiser head after each use. To clean, wash in warm soapy water and allow to dry fully before storing. We recommend cleaning the Ayvo once a week, using warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Please take care when cleaning around the battery compartment. Precautions - Do not use any abrasive liquids, treatments or cleaners on any part of Ayvo - Ayvo is not dishwasher safe 06 Before you start… Before you use Ayvo, make sure you remove any make-up using your normal make-up remover. Using Ayvo to remove make-up can stain the brush heads and make them unsuitable for daily use. The best way to use Ayvo Ayvo is waterproof: you can use it over the sink or in the bath or shower. Ayvo uses slow rotating brush strokes to revitalise and rejuvenate skin. There’s no need to add pressure while using it; just place Ayvo against your skin and allow the brush strokes to sweep across your face. It’s best to move Ayvo across your skin in slow circular motions. You can use it on any part of your face, and all the way down to your décolletage. The diagram shows you how long you should use it on each part of your face for each skincare treatment. 07 Remember: Everyone’s skin is different. Although these guidelines will suit most users, some could still experience dryness or redness after use. It’s important to respond to your skin’s needs: if you experience some irritation or discomfort, try reducing the amount of time you use Ayvo for during each treatment, or leave a longer gap between treatments. forehead 15 seconds each cheek 10 seconds nose/chin 10 seconds Cleansing Cleansing helps to remove impurities on your skin’s surface, including pollution, dirt and oil.
