Hotel Ballroom with Room Combine Application Example
Overview:
In this application a BB-168DT is deployed to manage four (4) ballrooms and four (4) additional zones of audio in a hotel. The BlueBridge® 16 x 8 processor allows matrix switching of the 12 mic/line inputs in the four (4) ballrooms, the three (3) BGM sources, hotel page, and four (4) wireless microphones on four (4) of the Dante™ network audio channels. Combining rooms with specific inputs and sources is easily set up and assigned to single button-preset configurations using the BlueBridge® Designer software. A Bluepanel created by the installer provides a secure hotel PC control system interface to keep track of it all.

Application Example Description:
In this example, Ballrooms 1 & 4 have four (4) XLR inputs, one (1) at each end of the room and one (1) mid-room on each of the stationary sidewalls. Ballrooms 2 & 3 have air-walls on both sides so only one (1) XLR input plate is located at each end on the stationary walls. A roll-in podium with mounted microphone or Lavalier system is available. A sub mixer can also be used in any room to patch-in more microphones and control levels if needed for an event. Any of the speaker groups can be combined to any of the inputs. Three (3) house BGM sources are available on inputs 13, 14, and 15, and the hotel page, input 16, can be routed to any or all of the speaker zones. The page can also be set-up with an override priority using the BlueBridge® logic programming. For additional flexibility, four (4) wireless microphone sources are available on the hotel Dante™ audio network.
