In this type of dryer, it is forbidden to use chemical drying agents. Laundry soiled with oil may ignite spontaneously when subjected to high temperature as may be the case in a dryer. Such a piece of laundry will heat up, thereby causing an oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation is caused by heat. When the heat cannot escape, the given piece of laundry may heat up to such a degree that it may ignite. An excessive amount of laundry soiled with oil may prevent heat from escaping and may therefore ignite. When it is not possible to avoid loading the washing machine with laundry stained with vegetable or cooking oil or haircare products, etc., it is necessary to first wash such laundry in hot water with an extra amount of laundry detergent - this will reduce, however not entirely eliminate the given risk. Ensure sufficient ventilation to prevent gases from burning or open flames from flowing back into the room where the appliance is located. Do not dry laundry that has not been washed in a washing machine. Laundry soiled by substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, stain remover, turpentine, wax or wax remover, must be washed in hot water with an extra amount of laundry detergent before being loaded into a dryer for drying. Laundry articles such as rubber foam (latex foam), swimming caps, waterproof textiles, rubber parts and clothing and pillows fitted rubber foam underlays must not be dried in a dryer. Fabric softeners and similar substances must be used in accordance with the instructions of their manufacturer. The final phase of the drying cycle is called the "cooling phase" (the dryer stops heating); its purpose is to prevent laundry from being too hot at the end of the drying cycle and thereby prevent scalding. Remove all items from pockets such as lighters and matches. WARNING: Never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all the laundry is immediately taken out and spread out to enable the heat to dissipate.

In such a case, it is always necessary to leave the door of the dryer always open. Do not install the appliance in a damp environment. This appliance is not designed to be built-in. WARNING! To prevent a fire from starting, injury by electrical shock or another accident, adhere to the following: Only use the appliance under the voltage indicated on the rating label. If you are not certain of the voltage in your home, please contact your power company. If you use the heating function, the maximum current during the operation of the appliance is 10 A. Therefore, ensure that the power units (current, voltage and power cord) meet the current load requirements of this appliance. Prevent the power cord from being damaged. The power cord must be located in such a way that it is not stepped on, that no items are place on top of it or that it is not possible to damage it. Special attention must then also be paid to the power socket. The power socket must be freely and easily accessible for immediate disconnection of the plug. Do not overload the power socket or use extension cords. Overloading the power socket may result in a fire or injury by electrical shock. PART 4: OPERATING THE WASHING MACHINE Inspection and preparation before washing Carefully read these methods of use to prevent problems with using the washing machine or damaging laundry. Check whether the first batch of laundry has lost colour. After using a white towel for washing invisible corners on laundry with a small amount of liquid laundry detergent, check whether the stains remained on the white towel from the original colour of the laundry. Wash head scarves or laundry that easily loses colour separately. To remove stains on sleeves, collars and pockets, use liquid laundry detergent and gently clean them using a brush. Finally, load the laundry into the washing machine to ensure the ideal washing result. Wash temperature sensitive laundry according to the instructions on the label of the piece of laundry. Otherwise, colour loss or damage may result. Remember: Never leave laundry intended for washing inside the washing machine too long. Otherwise, moulds and stains may appear. Therefore, wash the laundry in time. Laundry may likewise change colour or be damaged when it is not washed at the recommended temperature. Laundry unsuitable for washing in a washing machine Laundry that may be deformed when submerged in water: – Neck ties, vests, cowboy clothing, special apparel, etc. may shrink when submerged in water, or may change colour when the spin function is used on synthetic fibres, etc. – Clothing with frills, embroidery, etc. may become deformed when submerged in water. Amongst cotton and woollen materials, clothing such as for example silk, leather apparel or accessories, may deform easily; – Clothing with decorations, long dresses and traditional clothing, etc. are products that can easily lose colour. – Do not wash laundry in the washing machine that doesn't have a material label or which you do not know how to wash. – Never wash laundry soiled by chemicals such as petrol, kerosene, benzene, thinners or alcohol. Pay special attention to the laundry detergent that you use – A laundry detergent with low suds formation, laundry detergent or special laundry detergent for washing machine drums, should be selected based on fibre type (cotton, synthetics, delicates and woollen laundry), colours, washing temperatures, degree and manner of soiling. Otherwise a greater amount of suds could form and flow over the washing detergent drawer and thereby cause damage to property. – As a rule, bleach is alkaline based an may damage laundry and therefore we recommend using as little of it as possible. – Washing detergent may easily leave remains on the laundry and then produce an unpleasant odour and so it is necessary to rinse it off thoroughly. – The washing detergent has poor desolving properties when there is too much of it or when its temperature is too high. In this way, it may easily stick on clothing, in the hoses or the washing machine and then soil subsequent laundry. – When washing, it is necessary to consider the weight of the laundry, the degree of dirtiness, water hardness and recommendations of the laundry and laundry detergent manufacturers. If you are unsure, contact your water company to find out your water hardness. NOTE: Keep the laundry detergent and adjuncts in places out of children's reach.

Removed all items from pockets. Check the pockets of clothing that is to be loaded into the washing machine, empty out the pocket contents, e.g. coins, otherwise the washing machine may be damaged or other problems may occur.
Laundry needs to be sorted according to the following criteria: – Types of symbols on the clothing labels: laundry is sorted into laundry, blended fibres, synthetic fibres, silk, wool and artificial fibres. – Colour: white and coloured laundry must be designated. All new colour pieces of laundry should be washed separately. – Size: laundry of various sizes is washed together to achieve washing efficiency. Sensitivity: delicate laundry must be washed separately. For new woollen laundry, curtains and silk, it is necessary to select an appropriate gentle washing program. Check the label on all pieces of laundry. – It is necessary to sort clothing before loading it into the washing machine. Before washing curtains, remove any hooks. – Decorations on clothing may damage the washing machine. Clothing with buttons or embroidery must be turned inside out before being loaded into the washing machine. The symbols on the clothing labels will help you in sorting your laundry according to type of wash/drying as well as how to wash the given laundry.

Turning on washing – Zippers need to be closed and buttons or hooks secured. Loose belts or ribbons must be tied up. – We recommend placing bras into a pillow cover with a zip or buttons, so that a loose bra stiffener does not damage the washing machine. – Especially delicate laundry such as curtains with tape, straight suits, small pieces of laundry (nylon socks, handkerchiefs, neck ties, etc.) need to be placed inside special washing bags. – When washing large and heave pieces of laundry such as towels, jeans, jackets, etc., the washing machine may easily become unbalanced and a warning message may result. Therefore, we recommend adding one or two pieces of laundry to balance out the laundry in the washing machine.
Removing dust, stains and animal fur from clothing. Clothing may be damaged and the result of the wash may be disturbed if you do not remove dust, stains or animal fur in beforehand. Protection of children's skin Children's apparel (children's clothing and towels) including diapers must be washed separately. If they are washed together with adult clothing, they may become infected. The rinse time may be increased to ensure a thorough rinse and removal of laundry detergent remains. To achieve ideal washing results, we recommend heavily soiled laundry such as white socks, collars and sleeves, etc., are placed in the washing machines only after a hand prewash. Use a powder or liquid laundry detergent. When soap is used, it may remain in the corners of the laundry. Prewash of cotton laundry A washing machine with the latest technology together with advanced laundry detergents makes washing perfect as it saves energy, time, water and even the laundry detergent itself. And when cotton laundry is too dirty, you may use a protein-based laundry detergent.

Checking washing capacity: Do not load too much laundry as this may negatively affect the result or the wash. Using the following table, identify the maximum amount of laundry that can be loaded into the washing machine. Fabric type Cotton Synthetics Wool
Maximum laundry load 8 kg 10 kg 8 kg 10 kg 4 kg 5 kg 2.0 kg 2.0 kg
NOTE: Nominal capacity is maximum capacity. Make sure that the laundry loaded for drying does not exceed the nominal capacity. Clothing that easily loses fibres needs to be turned inside out Clothing that easily loses fibres needs to be washed separately, otherwise other laundry may easily be "soiled" with fibres. It is, therefore, recommended to wash, especially black laundry and cotton laundry separately because the loosened fibres could easily stick to the laundry. Check the laundry before loading it in the washing machine. Do not wash waterproof materials (ski clothing, outdoor clothing, drapes, etc.) in the washing machine. Such laundry is made from a material that is not easy to soak in water and, therefore, it is better not to wash waterproof clothing in a washing machine. Otherwise, the washing machine could overflow or abnormal vibrations could result causing damage during draining and spinning. (Such as outdoor pillows, raincoats, umbrellas, ski clothing, car tarpaulins, sleeping bags, etc.) Warning during draining Draining with standard clothing: The moisture from the laundry is drained through the drain holes in the drum. Draining water from durable clothing and inflammable fibrous products: When washing waterproof clothing or fibrous clothing, it is not possible to drain the water from it because water is pulled in a single direction by the high eccentric force created by the washing machine and may thereby result in excessive vibrations and undesirable movement. Effective drying of laundry Dry only laundry that was properly spun dry in the washing machine. Check that you did not press the spin button during the spin cycle to ensure that the laundry has been spun dry properly. With synthetic fabrics it is essential that they are properly spun dry before drying. To ensure the correct drying result, it is necessary to sort the laundry according to type and drying temperature. It is better to remove synthetic fabrics and sort them to prevent their damage and so that you can set the correct drying time based on the size of the load. If you wish to iron the laundry after drying it, remove it for a while to allow the moisture to dissipate. Fabrics unsuitable for drying Especially delicate fabrics such as curtains, woollen and silk pieces of laundry, laundry with metal stiffeners, nylon laundry, bulky laundry (windcheaters, bedspreads, kilts, sleeping bags, blankets, etc.) are not suitable for drying. Laundry coated with a rubber layer or similar material must not be dried; this is a fire hazard. Likewise, fabrics containing residues of creams or hair spray, varnish remover or similar substances must not be dried to prevent dangerous gases from forming.

“The wool wash cycle of this machine has been approved by The Woolmark Company for the washing of machine washable wool products provided that the products are washed according to the instructions on the garment label and those issued by the manufacturer of this washing machine. M0000.”
PART 6: WASHING LAUNDRY First wash cycle Before the first wash, it is necessary to run the appliance empty for one cycle according to the following procedure: 1. Insert the power plug into a power socket and open the water inlet valve. 2. Pour a small amount of laundry detergent into the compartment and close it. 3. Press the "On/Off " button. 4. Press the "Start/Pause" button. The laundry detergent compartment is divided as follows: I: Laundry detergent for the prewash. II: Main wash compartment, fabric softener, bleach, etc. : Washing adjuncts such as for example fabric softener or adhesion improver.
Putting laundry detergent into the washing machine 1. 2. 3.
4.
Slide out the laundry detergent drawer. Pour in the laundry detergent for the prewash into compartment I, if necessary. Pour the laundry detergent for the main wash into compartment II. Option1: powder laundry detergent Option2: liquid laundry detergent Pour fabric softener into the compartment (if necessary).
NOTE: – If you use a concentrated laundry detergent or fabric softener, check that it is soluble in water before putting it into the compartment, to prevent the washing machine from possibly clogging or overflowing. – To achieve proper washing results with a low water and power consumption, it is necessary to select the most suitable laundry detergent for the given temperature.
Turning on the washing machine Insert the power plug into a power socket. Check that the water supply and drain hoses are connected correctly. Open the water inlet. Load the laundry that is to be washed into the drum of the washing machine and add laundry detergent and adhesion improver. Then press the "On/Off " button, select an appropriate wash program and additional functions and then press the "Start/Pause" button.
Selecting a washing program The wash program needs to be selected based on the type, quality, degree of soiling of the laundry that is to be washed in combination with the following temperature table. 90 °C 60 °C 40°C, 30°C, 20°C and cold water
Heavily soiled, pure white cotton or linen laundry (e.g. table cloths, towels, bed sheets, bed linen, etc.). Slightly soiled, coloured linen, cotton or synthetic laundry (e.g. T-shirts, nightshirts, pyjamas); lightly soiled pure white linen laundry (e.g. underwear). Normally soiled laundry (for example: synthetic and woollen laundry)
First turn the program selection dial and select the appropriate program based on the type of laundry. Then select the temperature based on the degree of soiling. It generally applies, that the higher the temperature, the higher the power consumption.

12/2015
Finally, select the spinning speed. For standard textiles a spinning speed of 1000–1200 rpm and for delicate textiles a spinning speed of 600 – 800 rpm is recommended. The higher the speed, the drier the laundry will be after the spin drying, however the washing machine will be noisier. The surface of delicate fabrics may wrinkle up and the lifetime of the laundry may be reduced. IMPORTANT: To protect certain types of delicate laundry, select a lower spinning speed. The main washing program depends on the type of laundry that is to be washed. Select the washing program as follows: Quick program (1-hour W/D wash and dry) Suitable for smaller pieces of synthetic laundry or shirts, max load is 1 kg (approx. 4 shirts). This program will help when you have a last-minute meeting and cannot find a shirt in your wardrobe. It takes only 1 hour and includes both washing and drying. Note: Large towels or jeans are not suitable for this program, they will extended the washing and drying time and affect moisture content. Cotton Select this program for washing laundry that is used daily. The washing cycle time is sufficient with a very strong washing effect. We recommend the washing of standard everyday laundry, e.g. bed linen, bed sheets, nightgowns, underwear, etc. Synthetics Select this program for washing delicate laundry that is used daily. This program is shorter compared to the cotton program and the washing effect is likewise lower. We recommend it for washing synthetic laundry, e.g. shirts, suits, laundry from blended fabrics. Also for washing curtains and lace laundry, select the program Synthetics. For washing knitted laundry, it is necessary to reduce the amount of laundry detergent as the loose structure of the pattern can easily create a greater amount of suds. Baby Washing program for baby laundry with an extra rinse cycle to make baby laundry even cleaner with increased rinsing performance for protection of the baby's skin. Mix You can select this program when washing heavily soiled clothing that requires much more time and washing intensity. It is used for everyday cotton laundry such as for example bed linen, pillow covers, nightgowns and underwear. Dry only Select this program for drying clothing; drying temperature varies. Select the drying time based on the size of the laundry load. Cotton ECO This program serves to increase washing effectiveness by extending the duration of the main wash cycle. This program is suitable for washing the laundry of children and allergy sufferers. Sports wear Select this program for washing clothing for active free time. Rapid program (only washing) This program is suitable for lightly soiled laundry.
