Supports hotkeys to show system CPU, RAM, version, and account information during real-time monitoring. (Ex. F1) Instead of configuring in the system setting section, users can edit camera name / start or stop recording / close monitoring screen and continue to record in camera groups. Provides 8 or more E-maps, which support picture import in JPG or BMP file formats, and show the locations of cameras, sensors and relays. PTZ functions: supports 16 preset points, adjustable time settings of 1-60 seconds, auto tracking time resuming (1-9999999), adjustable four speeds, mouse dragging to control PTZ directions and aperture size adjustment. Through time and camera selections, users can browse the “object counting” logs, which will automatically be converted into a graphical representation (curve) so it is easier to analyze the number of entering and exiting objects. Features real-time “FaceFinder,” which enables users to monitor and search in separate windows and use human face images to search recorded data. Customized POS information setting supports inserting text from the POS machine on the displayed image, or show this information in a separate window (iPOS) to maintain the integrity of the complete image. Supports playback during real-time monitoring: users can simply select any camera they want to playback in the split mode without the need to switch back to the play mode. It is useful for users accustomed to monitoring and playing back videos in the same screen. (F1) Provides a virtual keyboard for inputting information such as user accounts or camera names without connecting a physical keyboard. Features deinterlace function, enabling users to select dynamic or static image corrections according to different environment settings in order to optimize image quality. Users can zoom in on the image as much as needed both in dynamic or static display. Block search function with selectable sensibility levels from 1 to 100 and interval from 1 to 3600 seconds. (Users can customize the image blocks and when there are changes in these blocks, the system will pause the displayed image to enhance the ease of searching.) Provides multiple alarm search capabilities such as triggered by sensors / motion detection / video loss / POS text to locate the recorded video. Supports visual search with 20 or more split images to locate the recorded data quickly by comparing the image differences with the time of day / hour / minute / second. Video segmentations with customizable “A and B” settings to repeat playing the specified time periods so that users can further confirm the details in those images. Features watermark function when the video is playing; any illegal changes to the images will cause a red flash alarm. (Normal status shows green light while unusual status shows red light) Full playback capabilities: play / fast-forward / rewind with speeds of 1/32, 1/16, 1/4, 1/2, ×1, ×2, ×4, ×8, ×16, ×32 times. Supports searching via the calendar and enables users to drag the jog shuttle to locate the playback time. Users can set a bookmark for important recorded videos to protect the time period and prevent it from being overwritten. Users can export the recorded video in multiple ways such as snapshot / print / video segmentation / customized backup time period. POS string search function can show the complete receipt information and export the data.

“Attention Please” function has the system randomly send out dialog boxes that must be filled in by security personnel confirming they are present and paying attention to the monitors. (Users can set the dialog box to appear from 1 to 24 times in one day; this is a patented function.) Starts overlay display to improve the surveillance image quality. Dual SPOT monitor output supports customized modes with display / playback or display / E-map. Users can set UPS in DVR settings to shut down the monitoring system when the battery capacity is lower than a customized percentage to avoid shutting down abnormally which results in the corruption of recorded data.

Shows the system HDD partition names, free space, HDD space and status information. Embedded HDD capacity calculator program to determine the remaining recordable time for the existing HDD without needing to calculate using other programs. System supports to connect to iSCSi device. Object counting settings allows users to reset the counts automatically back to zero per hour, every 12 hours or every 24 hours options, and the relevant data is converted into files for export or storage. Supports “FaceFinder” function, which is an application for automatically identifying a human face. Users can customize the search areas to start recording whenever a human face triggers the alarm; it supports external trigger devices for control. Features PTZ auto tracking, which allows users to set double-line areas enabling PTZ cameras to track moving objects instantly in specific areas and then automatically return to preset points after customized intervals (in seconds). Supports analog cameras, IP cameras or remote DVR video inputs. Supports displaying camera names of up to 24characters. Adjustable hue / brightness / contrast / saturation settings. Users can customize the image sharpness / noise reduction, auto bright adjustment, night view and deinterlace functions for the cameras. Provides “object counting” function, which allows users to customize the viewing areas and object sizes to analyze the number of people / cars entering and exiting. Supports over 60 major brands of IP cameras. Users can use URLs to connect to the IP cameras and get the video.

The system can archive the data from IP cameras and store it in customized sizes. IP cameras support options to preview only the main image, to preview using the most optimized stream and to refresh images on the preview screen only on when there is movement. (Only for AVer IP cameras) Users can directly connect to the Internet platform of IP cameras through the system to configure more detailed settings for IP cameras.

Provides 6 selectable recording modes: 24-hour recording, motion recording, smart recording, audio recording, no recording or main image recording. Features selectable motion detection areas with three sensibility levels (1 to 100 values). (The area supports 22 by 15 blocks, for a total of 330 blocks.) Recording resolutions of 352 × 240, 720 × 240 or 720 × 480 with selectable quality values from 0 to 100. Features mosaic encryption for video playback, which allows users to manage the playback data with passwords. (This is a patented function.) Users can perform storage optimization by selecting high, medium or low settings to cut the original data into half the size or less. Motion recording supports 10 seconds of pre-alarm recording and 600 seconds of post-alarm recording. Smart recording features selectable static or dynamic recording of 1-30 frame rates. Audio recording provides 0-100 volume levels to select from. A table-based configuration of the recording frame rates lists the channels for users to select the desired resolutions and frame rates for each individual channel. It is able to automatically calculate the remaining number of usable recording frame rates.

Supports setting schedules using the calendar, which allows for multiple time period or single time period scheduling. Schedule entries include: record, backup, start network, reboot, cancel alarm and open relays. (1-4 relay outputs are configurable.) Selectable backup schedule provides two options: synchronization backup – system will backup all files into the specified path at a specific time; or, resuming the last time backup – system will continue to backup the files which are not yet saved to specified folders at a specific time.

Supports external storage devices such as DVD-RW, external hard drives or USB flash drives to store the backup files. Users can specify to automatically delete the original files after backup is completed. Once you complete the backup selections, the system will automatically calculate the required capacity and do the partitioning for CD or DVD backup. Provides a quick backup interface where users can directly select the desired cameras and backup the files for the past 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes).

Includes the following trigger conditions: motion detection (1-300 seconds delay), video loss (0-300 seconds delay), suspicious object, scene change detection (such as, out-of-focus-image detection and masked image detection) and audio detection. Reboot, abnormal reboot, network disconnection, HDD corruption, overheating (with customized temperature values) can all be set as trigger conditions as well. Abnormal entering and exiting (with either single trigger or multiple triggers), FaceFinder, POS keywords (with customized trigger words), and sensor trigger can all be set as trigger conditions.
