Operating precautions Please read the following precautions before use, and kindly comply with all of them
Precautions
to operate it in proper ways for the best use of the unit. 1. Be careful when installing third party application as they can cause the system to become unstable. We do not provide any support for third party application or guarantee any third party apps to be compatible with the unit. 2. If you run into software issues you can restore the unit back to Factory Default. To restore Factory Default go to: (Settings-Advanced settings-Privacy-Restore factory default). (Note: All the softwares installed by the user, settings, and data will be deleted). 3. Start Time: Cold boot time 15-25 seconds, Warm boot time 2-3 seconds from standby mode. The system will go into standby mode (standby time can be adjusted in Settings menu) after turning off the car and removing the key out of the ignition. The unit can be switched ON within 2-3 seconds from standby mode. In order to prevent over discharge of the battery, the device is equipped with low battery detection protection. If the car’s battery voltage is detected to be low while the unit is in sleep mode the system will automatically fully power down the unit to prevent battery discharge. 4. We warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will, at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, or (ii) replace the Device with a new or refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device that is to be replaced. Power / Volume (The left turn knob) * Power on: Press the left turn knob to switch on the unit while its connected; * Power off / Reboot: Long press the left turn knob a few seconds, the unit will pop up two options : Power off & Reboot, simply touch the option on the screen. * Volume control: Simply turn the left turn knob in clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease the volume, * Mute mode: Short press the left turn knob the unit will be muted. 12. The Right turn knob * Seek up/down(Radio mode); * Previous/Next (Disc/USB/SD playback mode); * Background light controller (Dimmer, Press the knob to switch between 3 brightness modes). 13. Micro SD card slots The unit supports USB flash memory stick and Micro SD card memory up to 64GB. Dismount them or Switch off the unit before pulling out either USB Flash drive or Micro SD card to prevent file corruption. Note: To update the software, the update software should be put into a SD card and inserted into NAVI SD card slot. Note: For BMW with factory navigation system there is an addtional step needed during install for the units button illumination to work and the lights to dim with the dimmer switch on the dashboard. You will need to use a wire tap and connect the orange wire from the cable harness directly behind the unit to the 12v power wire from the cigarette lighter. Doing this will power on the button illumination and allows it to dim according to the dimmer switch on the dasboard. This step is only required if your BMW had the factory navigation system and you are now using the 6M extension cable.

2-4. File Manager
Features
1. Viewing files ① click
File Manager on desktop.
② Select the memory type, press the USB flash memory or SD Card accordingly to view the file folders there. ③ Click the folder to view the subfiles.

2-5. Bluetooth Bluetooth allows this unit to be detected and connected by the other Bluetooth devices ( cellphone, tablet, etc), hands-free calling and Bluetooth audio steaming. Basic procedure of the bluetooth function

Pairing & connecting When connecting Bluetooth devices for the first time, mutual registration is required. This registration (pairing) is required only for the first time, as this unit and the other devices will recognize each other automatically next time. After pairing is made, connect this unit and the Bluetooth device. Depending on the device, connection is automatically made along with the pairing. Hands-free calling / audio streaming You can make/receive hands-free calls, or listen to stream audio through this unit. Note: If you delete the device registration (unpair) from this unit, you need to perform pairing again.
1. Pairing procedure ① Touch “Bluetooth” icon to enter Bluetooth interface, then the Bluetooth signal is activated and discoverable, the unit’s Bluetooth information (Device name: XX-XXXX, pair code) will be displayed on the interface and this unit is ready to detected by the other Bluetooth devices. ② On your other Bluetooth device settings menu do a Bluetooth search/scan for this device. ③ If pair code input is required on the display of the device, input “0000”, or “1234”

Notes 1. While already connected to a Bluetooth device, this unit cannot be detected from another device. To enable detection, disconnect the current connection. 2. It may take time to search or connect.

This unit cannot be connected to a device that supports only HSP (Head Set Profile). 6.
