AVT900-3 Long Range Wireless Applications 902 to 928 MHz 3-Channel FM Audio/Video Transmitter The AVT900-3 is available in two versions; the AVT900-3A conforms to FCC Part 15 requirements for unlicensed use and has a range up to approximately 750 feet1. Model AVT900-3B has higher power output and may only be used for law enforcement or military applications. It has a range up to approximately 3000 feet1. The AVT900-3 provides excellent B/W and color video quality as well as full-range monaural audio (audio is transmitted as a 4.5MHz FM subcarrier). Three channel frequencies are screwdriver selectable from the front panel. Use with AVR900-3 receiver. For greater range, try a directional receiver antenna such as a Yagi or flat panel. See Applied Wireless Website for a selection of antennas. When the AVT900-3 is to be used in a non-stationary application (such as when attached to a hand-held video camera) and/or in an indoor environment, it is strongly recommended that the Applied Wireless Diversity Receiver (model DAV900-3) be utilized. This advanced multiantenna receiver will minimize the effects of multipath interference to provide more stable video images and audio reproduction, especially at extended ranges.
