Barracuda Mobile Device Manager Cloud-based mobile device management The cloud-based Barracuda Mobile Device Manager enables organizations to centrally administer and monitor both managed and employee-owned mobile phones and tablets. It allows employees to safely use their devices on corporate networks and gain secure access to network resources. Barracuda Mobile Device Manager provides unified management of iOS devices from a centralized dashboard integrated into the Barracuda Cloud Control. Using the service, administrators can set device security policies, deploy and manage applications, securely deliver documents, and remotely manage and monitor mobile devices. The Barracuda Mobile Device Manager allows administrators to easily extend network and content security policies to mobile devices and enables organizations to safely implement Bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs. Simple Enrollment Centralized Management Policy Enforcement Single Pane of Glass Barracuda Mobile Device Manager Remote Monitoring & Support Network Access Data Leakage Prevention Application Management 1 Barracuda Mobile Device Manager Simple Enrollment Policy Enforcement Once a service account is provisioned, mobile devices can be easily enrolled with the service over the air from any location. Administrators can send users an email invitation with enrollment information through the service. Optionally, users can download the Barracuda Mobile Companion app from the iTunes App Store. The service also supports zero-touch enrollment and inventory management through the Apple DEP program. The Barracuda MDM service allows administrators to easily apply security policies on mobile devices to ensure they don’t pose a security risk when used on corporate networks. These include device restrictions such as passcode policies and data-sharing permissions. Administrators can easily manage these settings across all the mobile devices on the network. They can also revoke access and wipe corporate data when a device is not compliant with corporate policies, when an employee leaves the company or when a device is lost or stolen. Administrators can also monitor applications installed on mobile devices and adjust the access policies for users with unsecured applications on their device that may compromise the security of the network. Centralized Management The intuitive, easy-to-use dashboard allows administrators to get a consolidated view of all mobile devices on their network. Once enrolled, the devices can be monitored irrespective of whether they are on the corporate network or at a remote location. The service provides detailed device and network information and allows administrators to remotely manage the devices. Network Access Mobile users can be granted access to network resources by preconfiguring Wi-Fi, VPN, Proxy and email (ActiveSync) settings as well as security and authentication credentials. The service also integrates with LDAP/Active Directory infrastructures to provide user specific settings for authenticated users. Copyright © Barracuda Networks, Inc. • 3175 S. Managed applications can also be configured with policies such as data sharing restrictions, per-app VPN, and singleapp mode. Users can request for support through the Barracuda Mobile Companion App. Administrators can address support requests for access restrictions and security policies as well as selectively wipe devices and manage applications and data. Single Pane of Glass Data Leakage Prevention The Barracuda Mobile Device Manager seamlessly integrates with Copy.com, Barracuda’s secure file synch and share service for enterprises. This allows administrators to securely provide access to confidential documents stored in Copy through the Barracuda Mobile Companion app as well as restrict sharing this data with other unmanaged apps on the device. Access to the documents is automatically revoked when a device is un-enrolled preventing unauthorized access to company confidential data. The Barracuda Mobile Device Manager is part of Barracuda Cloud Control, a comprehensive cloud-based management portal that allows administrators to manage and configure multiple Barracuda appliances (including Barracuda Spam Firewall, Barracuda Web Filter, Barracuda Firewall, Barracuda SSL VPN, Barracuda Web Application Firewall and Barracuda Load Balancer ADC), virtual appliances and cloud services (including Barracuda Email Security Service and Barracuda Web Security Service) from a single console. Barracuda Cloud Control functions can also be easily accessed on mobile devices through the Barracuda Networks App. About Barracuda Networks, Inc.
