October 2014 2 Operating Instructions Bus Driver Material number 11120352A SC600 India Intended use The SC600 is a device designed to control HVAC components (Heating, Ventilation, air-conditioning) for buses, e.g. roof-top air-conditioning systems, heaters etc. It comprises of a control panel (control device with human-tomachine interface) which is integrated into the dashboard. This control panel allows the driver to control the roof-top air-conditioning system which provides a ventilation-, a cooling- as well as a heating function for the roof. In addition by means of the control panel the heating function at the floor can be controlled. The control of the components of the air-conditioning system can be performed completely automatically. The bus driver needs in this case to set the desired temperature only. This operation manual is valid for the following air-conditioning system variants: - Air-conditioning system (AC) - Air-conditioning system with convector heating (AC & Convector) - Air-conditioning system with roof-top heating (AC & roof heating). The availability of the certain features depends on the particular model. If a feature is useable on a determined model only, so is that marked separately (e.g. P.10 reheat (optional)). 16.
