100铜版纸,正反面印刷 BASEBOARD FLOOR HEATER WITH REMOTE FEATURES Fig. 1 - Baseboard Floor Heater ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Safety Lock FUSE REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Please the heater on a firm, level surface. 2. Insert plug into a grounded 120V, 60Hz power outlet. 3. Turn on the power switch located at the rear of the unit. 4. Only operate the heater in an upright position with castor wheels attached. To prevent children from inadvertently adjusting heater controls, you can set the fan’s safety lock feature. To do so, please follow instructions below. 1. Press and hold the TEMP button on the Control Panel for 5 seconds until you hear a buzz. 2. This will lock the Control Panel and Remote Control. 3. To unlock the heater, press and hold the TEMP button on the Control Panel for 5 seconds until you hear a buzz. 4. This will unlock Control Panel and Remote Control. Please note, if you are unsure how to replace the fuse on a plug, please contact an experience or licensed electrician. Replacing the fuse incorrectly may damage the device. CONTROLS Air Outlet Air Intake Control Power Panel Switch The heater can be controlled by using either the control panel on the heater itself, or through the remote control. In the chart below, control panel buttons are shown alongside their corresponding remote control buttons. Remove battery insulation strip from the remote prior to first use. Control Panel / Remote Function Fig. 2 - Control Panel Turns the fan on/off. Selects a heat setting. Press to toggle between 3 heat settings. The selected setting will be reflected on the control panel above the MODE button. 1: Low heat setting 2: High heat setting ECO: Heater will consume 1/3 less power once desired room temperature is reached. Mode Timer Temp. Power Fig. 3 - Remote Control Adjusts thermostat. Press to toggle between 5 heat settings. The selected setting will be reflected on the control panel above the TEMP button. The heater will remain on until the room temperature reaches the desired setting, and cycle off and on to maintain the temperature. Power Sets the timer. Mode Temperature Increase Temperature Decrease Timer 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Printed in China Turning Heater Off: When the heater is on, press the TIMER button until the lights on the Control Panel switch to the hours. Continue to press to toggle between the desired number of hours you would like the heater to operate before automatically turning off. Turning Heater On: When the heater is of, press the TIMER button until the lights on the Control Panel switch to the hours. Continue to press to toggle between the desired number of hours you would like the heater to stay off before automatically turning on. CLEANING 1. Turn the Power Switch to the “off” position. 2. Unplug the unit and allow the heater to cool completely. 3. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let liquid enter the heater. 4. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater. 5. DO NOT immerse the heater in water. 6. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use. 7. If the heater is not to be used for a long period of time, please remove the battery in the remote control according to following steps, then take care of the remote control (Fig. 4). Fig. 4 TROUBLE-SHOOTING If your heater fails to operate, it may be because the safety features built-into the heater’s design have been activated and the heater has turned itself of to prevent overheating. 1. Turn the heater off and unplug it from the wall outlet. 2. Allow the heater to cool. 3. Inspect and remove any objects on or adjacent to the heater’s air filter or air vent that may be blocking air flow. 4. Wait 5-10 minutes before you plug the heater back in. 5. Ensure that your circuit breaker or fuse is working properly. 6. Ensure your heater is on a flat and even surface. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. 2. Open fuse cover by sliding open the fuse access cover on top of the plug attachment plug towards blades (Fig. 5). Fig.5 3. Remove fuse carefully. 4. Insert the tip of your tool into fuse slot (close to the terminal), then prize the fuse gradually and slowly, but do not overexert pressure when you are trying to remove the fuse. If it feels tight, try it several times gently and prize the fuse little by little. When one side of the fuse has been lifted, the fuse can be lifted out entirely. 5. CAUTION: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse. 6. Close fuse cover by sliding close the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug. CAUTION: 1. Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged. 2. When you replace the fuse, please don’t do so suddenly or over exert pressure. Doing so may damage or the product, cause accidents or create a fire hazard. 3. When you feel it is hard to open or close the fuse cover, or replace the fuse, please ensure you have are removing or replacing the fuse cover or fuse in the correct direction. In case of doubt, please contact an experienced, licensed or professional electrician for their assistance. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS FAN. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair. - This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids. - DO NOT touch the control panel or plug with a wet hand. - DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over. - DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater. - To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block the air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. - A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use in areas where gasoline, paint, explosive and/or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces and open flames. - Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip). - To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet. - To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet. Pull firmly on the plug, DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord. - Always unplug the unit before moving or cleaning, or whenever the heater is not in use. - Use only for intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by unauthorized dealers may cause hazards. - DO NOT use outdoors. - WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this unit with any solid-state speed control device. - DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
