MECHANICAL LINE SOLUTIONS PURIFINER ALARM FITTING INSTRUCTIONS * Installation 1 2 3 4 5 Screw sensor probe into Purifiner ensuring bonded seal is fitted Site and fix control box in preferred position Run cable through to sensor and secure any spare cable Make connections to sensor terminals NB * Brown cable to central connector Slide protective sleeve over sensor assembly Operation Sequence Battery Test Water in Fuel Low Battery Press test button Press test button 2 beeps & 2 flashes continuous beeps & flashes single beep then a single beep every 30 seconds MECHANICAL LINE SOLUTIONS Horspath Road Ind Est., Pony Road, Cowley, OXFORD. Alarm and light will activate to indicate battery is serviceable. * * 2 Connect earth terminal (clip) to a suitable earthing point when testing metal tanks. Conect to Earth 3 Lower sensor into the tank (cable is marked at 1mt intervals for guidance) 4 If water is detected, the alarm and light will activate Audible Warning Alarm Flashing Light 5 After use, clean and dry the sensor and cable before storing the unit in its case 6 Battery replacement- Always use a good quality battery. Slide cover off to replace battery. NB The sensor is suitable for use in both metal and plastic tanks For use with fuels having a viscocity between 2 & 5.35cST (@ 37.8 Deg C) and a minimum Flash Point (PM) of 55 Deg C.
