GB.BCSA455.050101 Instructions for the BASIC BCSA Damper, Sizes 004–055 1. General The BCSA Air intake damper has counter-rotating, torsionally rigid damper blades made of aluminium-zinc-plated, doubleskin sheet steel, to environment class M3. The damper blades are journalled in nylon bearings and are available with or without insulation. The damper conforms to the provisions of tightness class 3 to Swedish Standard VVS-AMA 98 (equivalent to a type 4 damper to VVS-AMA 83). The damper is available in three variants: mounted on end wall, mounted in a casing including the set of slip clamps for connection to ducting and mounted in a casing for installation between functional sections. 1.1 Specification The version, sizes, etc. are specified in the delivery documents BCSA, fitted in a casing incl. slip clamps 2. Installation The BCSA damper section must be installed with the damper shafts horizontal. The damper section can be connected as illustrated below. Connection to the ducting.
