With recorded production numbers of around 800 yards or more per hour, this unit will convert large diameter stumps and whole trees into quality end products in one pass. Recycling yards and landfills can rapidly produce enormous mulch piles out of piled brush, whole trees, stumps, pallets, land clearing waste, palm fronds, logging slash, sawmill waste, construction waste, and housing demolition. It features a 45" diameter capacity with its 45" x 60" mill opening and engine options up to 1,200 horsepower. The Model 4680XP is equipped with the patented Bandit cutter mill, which provides the most efficient means of breaking down a wide variety of materials. With a Bandit cutter mill you have the option of cutting, splitting, grinding and chipping with the opportunity to mix and match cutting devices to allow for the production of uniform material with varying sizes. The Model 4680XL features a 60-tooth setup on its cutter mill, allowing it to process a wide array of materials with ease with its 60" diameter by 63" wide dimensions. Different combinations and styles of cutterbodies and teeth can be configured to control the amount of bite, assist in forwarding material through the screening system, and dial in the preferred size and consistency of the end product. A chipper knife set-up can also be equipped on the Model 4680XL, allowing it to produce a dimensional, screened chip that can be used for fuel and other applications demanding a consistent, high-quality, precisely-sized chip. A three-speed 16'-5" long x 60" wide double slat design track-type infeed conveyor bed chain serves material to the cuttermill at 18 to 43 feet per minute on the Model 4680XL, where it is met by a 36" diameter x 60" wide internally driven floating top feed wheel in an arrangement that is easy to feed. The cutting action is performed against the infeed chain which eliminates the need for an anvil, thus there is not a gap that is created between the chain and an anvil for materials to collect and wedge. Component weight is distributed and supported on a sturdy frame constructed from 3/8" thick steel with 22" deep formed high tensile steel plating and cross-section bracing using continuous welds for structural integrity as opposed to bolt-together techniques. Thus, in combination with three 25,000 pound air-brake axles, the Model 4680XL can provide the necessary physical reinforcement to hold up for many years of service. When it comes to determine how you want your material delivered, the Model 4680XL offers plenty of choices when it comes to discharge options. The standard folding discharge conveyor feeds material at either 280 or 480 feet per minute, includes a magnetic head pulley for retrieving metal fragments or nails out of the flow of ground product, and has an approximate stacking height of 18 feet. The primary discharge conveyor is 10' long x 56" wide and the secondary discharge conveyor measures in at 25' 6" long x 56" wide. A radio remote control with tether remote back-up and 50' of cord can be used to control all yoke, infeed, discharge conveyor, gate, engine, and emergency stop functions of the machine. A Flexxaire auto-reverse cooling fan prevents engine overheating, improves machine efficiency, and reduces fuel consumption. An air compressor with 13 horsepower gas engine is also part of the standard build for providing tools at the machine. Also included are dual front hydraulic stabilizers, electric over hydraulic shut down switches, a fire extinguisher, lockable control cabinets, and a liquid dust suppression system. Customize your Model 4680XL to the fullest with many productivity enhancing options. For sizing material, select from a variety of square, rounded, baffled, or diamond screens ranging from 5/8" to 7" in diameter and gates up to 5" in diameter.
