Bedfordshire Bridge Association GREEN POINTED SWISS PAIRS 12 noon Sunday 18th June 2017 at The Wixams Lakeview Village Hall Blakelands Avenue Wixams Village MK42 6AB Entry Fee £23.00 per player Prizes to the top ten percent of the field Licensed by the EBU Master Points to EBU Scales Seven x 7 Board Matches Level Four Conventions Duplimated boards and hand records Direct Crediting of Master Points START AND END TIMES The event will start at 12 noon. Four x 7 board matches will be played before tea and three x 7 board matches after tea. There will be a short meal break between both sessions. The prize giving should be completed by 8:00 pm., enabling competitors to be home at a reasonable time. GETTING THERE The A421 from junction 13 of the M1 provides fast access to the A6 (South). and Wixams in under 15 minutes. Likewise from the A1. Go past the first W|ixams roundabout and at the Wilstead roundabout turn RIGHT into Wixams and immediately right again. The Lakeview Hall is opposite Budgens Store. ENTRY FORMS Online entry forms are available on the Bedfordshire website: www.bedsbridge.co.uk Early booking is advised. Select the option - Entry Form 18 June 2017 (Below the HOME Page menu item One Day Event June 2017) An entry form will appear on the screen. Complete your details on the form and then click on the “Send Email” button. The form will automatically be sent to Peter Malpass, [email protected] followed by an automatic acknowledgement of receipt. Two methods of payment are available. Pay on the day by cash or cheque. CATERING ARRANGEMENTS Players are invited to bring their own food for the breaks which can be consumed at the venue. MASTER POINTS It is now our standard practice to direct credit master points, so it would be very helpful, if you could supply the EBU Numbers of yourself and your partner at the time of entry. If you don’t know their EBU number, their name and Post Code will help us. FINAL RESULTS Will be posted on the Bedfordshire Bridge Association website: www.bedsbridge.co.uk, and the EBU website; www.ebu.co.uk within 24 hours of event completion. PARKING There is an ample parking area situated to the left of the hall with extra parking to the right.
