The BEETLE i8 POS is a low cost Retail POS Solution featuring an open architecture design with a high level of retail peripherals integration. The BEETLE i8 POS is our latest retail workstation that meets the ever changing needs of both the Hospitality and Retail market. With its small footprint, the BEETLE i8 POS adapts to any existing retail environment without costly renovations to the existing checkstands. It comes in both modular as well as compact model. With the modular design, you can optimize your investment without limiting your peripheral choices or expansion slots. The BEETLE i8 POS supports most of the Microsoft operating systems like, DOS, WIN95/98, WIN NT, WIN 2000 and WIN XP. The BEETLE i8 POS fits seamlessly into our range of open standard BEETLE POS Family. As a result, the BEETLE i8 POS can be configured with ease, thus making it one of the most cost efficient POS in its class. With its low cost price feature, the BEETLE i8 POS is packed with features ranging from RF LAN to Dual Screen capabilities. Processor offerings start from Intel Celeron up to Pentium III 1.2Ghz. Base memory is offered at 64MB up to 512MB.

Peripherals All the BEETLE models are designed based on open system platforms for investment protection, best-of-breed POS solutions and support requirements. In addition, we offer an extensive selection of retail peripherals such as POS printers, barcode scanners, line display, cash drawers, POS keyboards, etc. Our product portfolio consists of in-house developments and OEM products, and offers everything needed for a professional, freely configurable POS solution. Communication The BEETLE i8 POS is equipped as standard, a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet Twisted Pair Interface. A radio LAN can be optionally used. A conventional modem can be connected to the standard interface for a WAN.
