S.E.A.D. As proprietary Konica Minolta technology, S.E.A.D. stands for “Screen-Enhancing Active Digital Process” and combines various technical innovations to guarantee impeccable colour reproduction at top speed. Konica Minolta’s advanced colour processing technology includes these important capabilities: – 600 x 1,800 dpi x 6 bit print resolution With the physical print resolution of 600 x 1,800 dpi and continuous tone printing of 6 bit, bizhub PRO C754 offers high-quality output for images and graphics, and smooth colour gradation. For the extra support of fine line reproduction and the very small characters in maps and similar documents, for example, the bizhub PRO C754 can be switched to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi for precision printing. – Screen technology Depending on the different image objects on one page – photos, graphics and text – bizhub PRO C754 automatically applies the best print screening to ensure smooth, even or sharp reproduction for a perfect match of the print data. – ITbit technology Outline processing improves the appearance of characters by thinning them so they do not appear fat. Contour processing helps to reproduce white characters on backgrounds with ideal proportions and reduces jagged edges of half-tone characters. – Image stability Short-interval stability control monitors image consistency on the bizhub PRO C754 during continuous printing without affecting performance. Corrections are fully automatic and improve the stability of the image quality, while the whole process considerably enhances production efficiency. To avoid production interruptions, the stability system analyses incoming print jobs and carries out stabilisation at the start or at the end of the print run. – Retention and stability In addition to internal monitoring, the system also checks for ambient changes to temperature and humidity as these might influence the print quality. The IC-414 internal Fiery controller helps in five main areas: – Highest performance gives increased productivity thanks to the use of dedicated hardware. This is enhanced by the automation of workflows and the reduction of errors. It also supports finishing devices and features VDP capabilities. – Best colour quality thanks to professional and accurate colour and image quality right out of the box and featuring Fiery Image Enhance (Image Enhance Visual Editor is an option). It also has on board Fiery Spot-On for the production of speciality and spot colours. – Superior usability achieved by minimising operator training with intuitive user interfaces such as Fiery VUE and Fiery Command WorkStation. It is very easy to prepare complex documents without any problems – good for staff satisfaction and fewer errors and waste.
– Increases productivity: Quicker results because the Fiery Command WorkStation® 5 (CWS5) gets jobs done with fewer clicks by using dedicated hardware that does not share resources. – Automates print workflows: Fiery Driver presets give more control without opening additional applications. Large capacity tray LU-301 Attaching the A4 large-capacity cassette LU-301 to a bizhub production printing system increases its paper capacity to 6,650 sheets, along with the ability to process various types of media, with paper weights of between 52 and 256 gsm.

Banner tray BT-C1e To support higher print volumes of banner sheets, the bypass tray can be enhanced with the BT-C1e, allowing banner feeding of up to 25 sheets.

Stapling unit FS-534 Equipping a bizhub printing system with the FS-534 stapling unit gives print providers a multi-position stapling finisher with the capabilities to produce manuals, reports and other extensive documentation with ease and dependability. This unit provides an output capacity for up to 3,300 sheets, it can staple up to 50 sheets, and auto-shift sorting and grouping are also available. Additionally, the FS-534 can be upgraded with an optional saddle kit for booklet finishing with up to 20 sheets and a two- or four-hole punching kit.
