Created with passion, precise by definition Blade Series includes two high-performance dual-technology volumetric detectors and one IR wireless detector designed for active protection of windows and French-windows thanks to their compact and precise curtain coverage featuring 4m range max. Blade sensors detection angle has been especially realized to protect the areas that really need to be protected: its beams will not fall outside such areas and consequently will not cause false alarms. The reduced dimensions and low-profile of BLADE and BLADERF (both in white and brown version) detectors allow both vertical and horizontal installations: vertically along windows/doors sides, horizontally above windows/doors top side, and also centrally if using BLADEC. The special shape of the housing of BLADE and BLADERF detectors facilitates the double type of mounting between shutters/roll-up shutters and windows/doors: the housing has a special area for cables at the base and is equipped with insulation gaskets in case of cables input from the housing side.
a 24GHz microwave section equipped with a reduced-dimension planar antenna. The detection sections are highly immune to external disturbances thanks to a complete equipment: FRESNEL lens, silica filter for white light protection, filter against NEON light, and temperature automatic compensation. BLADE and BLADERF dual-technology detectors feature an active antiblinding function and also the DAM (Double Anti Mask) function that ensures detection of sensors’ far and near masking, detecting movements at the same time. Blade completes with a high-sensitivity accelerometric sensor operating on two axis and detecting possible disorientation actions against the detector. BLADE and BLADEC dual-technology detectors have been designed to ensure quick and easy maintenance: a special input allows to test the detector remotely with the activation of the alarm and fault relay without acting on the detector housing.
