Features commonly available via P25 consoles are now available directly from the BLP450 Series Portable. Key features implemented include Duress, Radio Inhibit and Radio Uninhibit.

Multicast Vote Scan capable BLP450 Series radios automatically select the best site to operate from in a wide area system. Channels in the multicast conventional system are added to the scan list and designated as “voted” channels. The BLP450 radio scans all voted channels and selects the channel with the best signal.
»» AES/DES Encryption
AES and DES-OFB (Digital Encryption Standard) allows you to communicate with other radios that have the specific key programmed. Benelec’s AES/DES Encryption is NIST certified, validated FIPS 140-2 Type III encryption with a 256 bit key load. Key loading is managed via a KVL4000 key loader.
