Podspeakers Bluetooth FAQ What is Bluetooth® pairing? Bluetooth® pairing occurs when two Bluetooth® devices agree to communicate with each other and establish a connection. The pairing process is used to generate a link key that is used for authentication purposes during subsequent Bluetooth connections between two devices. The device needs to be paired to ‘stream’ music over Bluetooth.
How to connect you device to your Bluetooth Podspeakers MicroPod Bluetooth will automatically search for Bluetooth devices, simply enable Bluetooth on your device and choose MicroPod BT. In some cases you may need to enter PIN code. (0000) For connecting SmallPod Bluetooth to your device you need to press the Bluetooth button on the remote control and then press the Match button. This will set your SamllPod Bluetooth in search mode. And now SmallPod BT will be visible in your Bluetooth menu on your device. In some cases you may need to enter PIN code. (0000) MiniPod Bluetooth will automatically search for Bluetooth devices, simply enable Bluetooth on your device and press Bluetooth button on the remote control. This will set your MiniPod Bluetooth in search mode, simply choose MiniPod BT in on your device. In some cases you may need to enter PIN code. (0000)
How far can my Bluetooth speakers from Podspeakers be from the device it is paired with? Approx. 30 feet. (10 meter)
Which devices are compatible with my Bluetooth speakers from Podspeakers? For Music & Audio Streaming: Bluetooth speakers from Podspeakers are compatible with most Bluetooth®enabled devices including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, most Android smartphones and tablets, and most Mac or PC computers. Bluetooth speakers from Podspeakers are also compatible with any device with a headphone jack or audio line out. For Phone Calls & Video Chats the Bluetooth speakers from Podspeakers automatically will turn down the volume and switch to the phone speaker and microphone.
My Bluetooth Podspeakers always auto-connects to the last device that I connected with. How do I pair a different device? If you have MicroPod and MiniPod Bluetooth you simply disconnect the Bluetooth connection on your device and then your MicroPod Bluetooth will search for new devices automatically. For SmallPod Bluetooth you simply press the MATCH your Podspeakers.

Why does the MicroPod/SmallPod/MiniPod Bluetooth no longer allow me to connect to it from my device via Bluetooth, even if I have paired it before? The Bluetooth Podspeakers remembers up to 8 Bluetooth® devices. If you have paired more than 8 devices before, then the first device will be forgotten. First one paired is the first one that gets dropped once the 8-device memory limit is reached. Simply put the Bluetooth Podspeakers back into pairing mode and reconnect to it.
I cannot hear anything on my Podspeakers Increase the volume on your Podspeaker. Ensure that your Podspeaker is paired or connected to a device that is playing.
I hear crackling noises A Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between connected devices. To avoid crackling noises it is recommended a distance of no more than 33 feet (10 meters) with no major objects inbetween.
Is it possible to connect two Bluetooth devices at once? It is not possible for two Bluetooth devices to be connected at once.
Will the Podspeakers work with other Bluetooth equipment? The Podspeakers are designed to work with all Bluetooth that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher
TIPS AND TRICKS Can I play an iPod / iPhone / iPad using the device without using Bluetooth? Yes. This can be done by connecting the device to the iPod / iPhone / iPad with a Minijack cable (included) After the connection, play the audio file from the iPod / iPhone / iPad.
How do I clean the unit? To clean your Podspeakers of fingerprints, dust, and dirt, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives, as these may damage the cabinets.
How can I play audio files from an external device (e.g.: an MP3 player) through the device? Connect the supplied Minijack cable to: The AUX in socket on the back of your Podspeakers and connect to headphone jack on an external audio player. Start music playback on your external device. Make sure around 75% volume of the external device turns up.
