This manual will help you operate it, but you should first familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth function of your device. If your computer is not equipped with a Bluetooth function, a Bluetooth adaptor is necessary. Plug the adaptor into the computer and ensure its Bluetooth function is activated. 2. Turn on your DrBlu® Bluetooth Stereo Pro Headset and enter the pairing mode (see p2). 3. Start the Bluetooth control software on your computer or the builtin software of the operating system, for example the IVT software, and select the “Search for Bluetooth devices” menu. 4. Once the headset is found, “DrBlu-Pro” will be displayed in the devices list. Select the device, right click and select “connect to audio device”. 5. Open your media player to play music, watch TV/Films or play games, then you can hear all the sound through your DrBlu® Bluetooth Stereo Pro Headset. 6. To connect to the computer in future, simply select “connect to audio device”. Pairing with a Phone or Tablet 1. Activate the Bluetooth function on your phone or tablet and search for your headset. (see your mobile device’s user manual). 2. With the headset powered off, press the DrBlu button for 8 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately. You will hear the voice prompt “Pairing”. 3.Select your headset “DrBlu-Pro” from the list of available devices on your phone or tablet. 4. If a PIN code is requested, enter “0000" to pair and connect your headset to the phone or tablet. 5. When prompted by your phone or tablet to confirm this pairing press the OK or YES button. 6. The indicator light flashes blue slowly and you will hear the voice prompt “power on”. Enter Pairing Mode: Press the DrBlu button for 8 seconds when the device is off. The indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you will hear the voice prompt “pairing”. Pairing: see Page 4 (Pairing with a Computer and Pairing with a Phone or Tablet). Play/Pause: Press the DrBlu button to play or pause. Volume Up: Press “:” to turn the volume up. Volume Down: Press “.” to turn the volume down. Next/Previous: Press “.” for 1 second to play the previous track and “:” to play the next track. Power Off: Press the DrBlu button for 3 seconds when the device is on standby. You will hear the voice prompt “power off” and the indicator light will flash red for 2 seconds. Low Battery Warning: You will hear the voice prompt “battery low” and the indicator light will flash red. Charging: Use the USB charging cable to charge the headset. The indicator is solid red when charging. Answer a Call: Press the DrBlu button once to answer an incoming call. End a Call: Press the DrBlu button once to end a call. Transfer call voice: Press the DrBlu button for 2 seconds to transfer the call voice from the mobile phone to the headset or vice-versa. Reject a Call: Double press the DrBlu button to reject an incoming call. Multi Device Connection: With the headset off, press the DrBlu button for 8 seconds to enter pairing mode, pair with the first mobile phone (see p4). Power off the headset, turn off the Bluetooth function of the first mobile phone. Press the DrBlu button for 8 seconds to enter the pairing mode again, turn on the Bluetooth function of the second mobile phone and select “DrBlu-Pro” to pair with it. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the first mobile phone again to automatically pair with the headset and finish the multi-point connection. Switch calls between two phones: When there’s an incoming call on the first phone, press the DrBlu button to answer it. If there’s another call on the second phone at the same time, press DrBlu again to hang up the current call and answer the call on the second phone. Redial the latest call: In standby or music playing mode, double press the DrBlu button. Mute: When talking, double press the DrBlu button to mute the microphone. System Reset: When charging the headset, press the DrBlu button for 3-5 seconds, the indicator light flashes purple for three times. Turn off the voice prompts: Enter the pairing mode, press “.” for 3 seconds, the indicator light flashes red three times. Turn on the voice prompts: Enter the pairing mode, press “:” for 3 seconds, the indicator light flashes blue three times. Charging your Headset 1. Use a charger with DC5V output voltage or USB charging cable connected to a computer to charge the headset. 2. During charging the indicator light will turn red. 3. When the headset is fully charged the indicator light will turn blue. Note: Use only approved chargers, the use of any other chargers may invalidate the warranty and may be dangerous. Repeated charging and discharging of the headset will cause degradation of the battery performance, this is normal for all rechargeable batteries. If the headset has not been used for over three months, please charge it before using. 3 2 Warranty Card Safety Rules 1. Never disassemble or modify your headset for any since this may result in breakdown of the unit or cause a fire. It will also void our warranty. 2. Keep the headset dry. Damage caused by liquid is also excluded from our warranty cover. 3. Do not store the device in extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C) 4. Do not use the device during a thunderstorm. It may cause irregular operation and increase the risk of electric shock. Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of purchase. Free Service: During the warranty period if there is any breakdown caused by manufacturing defects, please contact your supplier to enjoy free maintenance. Free maintenance will not be available under the following circumstances: 1. Without either; Warranty Card, intact maintenance label, or warranty registration via the DrBlu website. Why can’t I turn the headset on? A. Make sure your headset is fully charged before using it for the first time. Your headset can not be turned on if the battery level is very low. Q. Why is there no sound when playing music? A. Check the connection between your headset and your phone or computer. If the connection is not established reconnect them and adjust the volume to the desired level. Q. Why can’t my phone or computer find the headset when searching? A.
