SAFETY PRECAUTIONS READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! Read this entire manual before operating this product. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following: WARNING: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION: 1. Use this fan only for purposes described in this manual. 2. This fan is intended for household use only and not for outdoor, commercial or industrial use. 3. This fan is not intended for use in kitchens. 4. To protect against electric shock, do not place fan in a window, immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids. 5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory for mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 7. DO NOT insert fingers or any objects through the grill guard when fan is in operation. 8. DO NOT operate this unit without fan guards properly locked. Avoid contact with moving parts. 9. DO NOT operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes. 10. DO NOT place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance. 11. DO NOT hang or mount fan on a wall or ceiling. 12. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. 13. DO NOT let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter or come into contact with hot surfaces. 14. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over. 15. DO NOT operate fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or if it has been dropped/damaged in any manner. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair. 16. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull on the cord. 17. When inserting the rolling casters into the bottom of the unit, please note there will be approximately a 1/8” space between the base of the unit and the ring on the caster when they are installed. Do not over insert the casters. 18. Always use on a dry, level surface. 19. To reduce the risks of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons that may exist due to use of the product. User should place the product and connected cord so that the product is not likely to be upset. 20. To reduce the potential risk of electric shock due to overfilling or cleaning the product and removal of the heating element portion of the product. FUSED PLUG This plug is a safety feature. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged. To injury, DO NOT remove, replace, repair or tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the fan does not function properly, it may be due to the safety device incorporated in this plug. If the fuse fails, it is generally due to a short circuit or circuit overload. Replace the fuse as per the instructions below. If the replacement fuse fails, immediately unplug the unit and contact our technical support department for assistance.

FUSE REPLACEMENT: 1. To replace the fuse, first turn the unit off and unplug it from the wall. Locate the door on top of the plug. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Figure 1. 2. Slide the door on top of the plug towards the blades. Figure 2. 3. Carefully remove the fuse from the clips holding it on the top and bottom. Figure 3.

Warning! Electrical Hazard! Only replace with a fuse type and rating matching what was removed from the product. If the product fails a second time, immediately unplug it and contact our technical support at 1-888-880-3267. 4. Gently push the fuse back into the pins that will hold it in place. Note: If the fuse is not seated properly, the unit will not function. 5. Slide the door back over the fuse box in the plug. 6. Plug the fan back in and resume use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION This model is novel and attractive with luxurious appearance, reasonable features, and easy operation. It has both fan and humidifier functions blowing cool mist that may be used together or separately. This fan uses ultrasonic vibration components, atomizes the water to 1 - 5 micron particles and spreads the mist into the air through the wind. This function increases the cool humidity which makes you feel cool in a single room or in the entire home. FAN OPERATION Set the fan base on a dry, level surface. Plug cord into any standard 120 volt AC outlet, the indicator light on the control panel (Figure 4) will be lit. The fan is ready for use and can be controlled by using the remote control or the buttons on the control panel on the fan body. Figure 4 1. Press "ON/SPEED" button to turn on the fan and to choose the wind speed: Low, Medium or High. The LED screen on the control panel will indicate the fan speed selected. 2. Press "PIVOT" button to change the wind direction, meanwhile the corresponding light will be lit. Press this button again to stop oscillation. 3. Press "WIND" button to choose the wind type, meanwhile the corresponding light will be l lit. "Normal": Wind blow based on Low/Medium/High speed. "Natural": Imitates the natural fluctuations in speed of wind. "Sleeping": In the first half an hour, the fan runs as strong and soft natural wind, and then it becomes medium natural wind in the second half an hour. After the hour, it changes to soft natural wind until the end of preset time. 4. Press "TIMER" button to set the timer function. This fan is equipped with an automatic shut off feature. To select desired length of operation hours, press the Timer Button a number of times until the LED displays the desired operation time (from 1 hour to 7 hours, in 1-hour increments). 5. Press "MIST" button and the corresponding light will be lit. Mist will spread out of the front mist plate. 6. Press "FAN STOP" button, it switches off the fan and all fan functions return to initial condition. REMOTE CONTROL (Figure 5) The remote control must be directed at the infrared port on the fan body. If the remote control does not operate well, please check the inside batteries first, and change with new batteries if needed. Your remote control uses two (2) “AAA” batteries (not included) for operation. Notes: Change the batteries with new and same types. Otherwise your remote control may not operate properly. Remove the batteries out of the remote control if you won’t use the remote control for a long time. Figure 5 Remaining batteries may damage your remote control. 61401-01 20150202

WATER TANK Stabilize the mist fan on the ground and add water into the water tank according to the six steps below: Note: Remove and discard the protective foam on the top of the water tank during the first use. Important: Do not take out the water tank before unplugging the power cord. Do not add hot water (104°F / 40°C or above) into the tank. Figure 6 1. Loosen the locking screw on the water tank panel. 5. Screw off the tank cap and add water. Then screw back the tank cap. Figure 10. Figure 9 6. Put the water tank back into the fan, then close the water tank panel and tighten with the locking screw. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 1. Disconnect the power cord plug from the electrical outlet and make sure that your fan is not operating before beginning any such service or cleaning operation. 2. During cleaning the product including any need for disassembly (and reassembly) and any need not for the use of additives. Clean the water tank every two or three weeks, and clean the flume every week. Figure 12. 3. Take out the water tank when cleaning the fan, and pull plastic tube out of the atomizing cup properly, then take out the atomizing cup and clean them. Figure 13.

4. Use a dry cloth to absorb water remaining when cleaning the atomizing cup, and dry it using a piece of soft cloth. You may use mild detergent to clean the atomizing cup if the water is dirty. Figure 14. 5. Please add a few drops of lubricant to the motor shaft after cleaning to extend motor life every year. Figure 15.

6. Pack the unit properly and store it in a cool dry place if you are not using it for a period of time. 7. After cleaning, all safety devices (including water tank panel, grills and blades) must be reinstalled or remounted as previously installed.

WARRANTY Hunter Home Comfort makes the following limited warranty to the user or consumer purchaser of this Hunter Box Fan: If your Hunter Box Fan motor fails at any time within one year after the date of sale to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, labor to repair the defect will be provided free of charge at our nearest service center or our Service Department in Marietta, Georgia. You will be responsible for labor costs after this one-year period. The foregoing limited warranty applies only to the motor itself, and does not apply to electronic controls such as remote controls, remote control receivers or transmitters used in conjunction with the motor. These electronic control items are included in the one year limited warranty below. If any part of your Hunter Box Fan other than the motor fails at any time within one year after the date of sale to you due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair or, at our option, replace the defective part free of charge for parts and labor performed at our nearest service center or at our Service Department in Marietta, Georgia. IF THE USER OR CONSUMER PURCHASER CEASES TO OWN THE FAN, THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY WHICH THEN REMAINS IN EFFECT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE VOIDED. NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS MADE IN RESPECT TO THE GLASS GLOBES OR LIGHT BULBS OR THE FINISH ON ANY METAL PORTION OF THE FAN. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IN RESPECT TO ANY HUNTER FAN MOTOR OR OTHER FAN PART, IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE FOR SUCH MOTORS AND OTHER PARTS. This warranty is voided if your Hunter Fan is not purchased and used in the USA. This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of any Hunter Box Fan which were caused by repairs by persons not authorized by us, use of parts or accessories not authorized by us, mishandling, improper installation, modifications, or damage to the Hunter Box Fan while in your possession, or unreasonable use, including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. If we authorize you to ship it to us, you will be responsible for all insurance and freight or other transportation charges to our factory service center. We will return your Hunter Fan freight prepaid. Your Mist Fan should be properly packed to avoid damage in transit since we will not be responsible for any such damage. Proof of purchase is required when requesting warranty service. The purchaser must present sales receipt or other document that establishes proof of purchase. IN NO EVENT SHALL HUNTER HOME COMFORT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
