Based at our state of the ar t 150,000 square foot bespoke site, we boast an extensive range of high quality cooked meat products, with an unparalleled variety of cuts, flavours, preparation options, so we can offer our customers exactly what they want every time. Our in-house product development team are dedicated to the innovation and development of exciting new products to deliver to our customers, and our in-group packaging, design, storage and distribution facilities ensure we can provide a comprehensive service to you and your business from star t to finish. 2 The founding business Brown Brothers Ltd in what is now Browns Food Group, began as a small family butchers which was opened and run by the Browns family in Biggar, Scotland in 1885. The Browns family star ted off distributing their meat, cured bacon and sausages by horse and car t throughout Lanarkshire and the surrounding areas. Since then Brown Brothers Ltd has carried on that legacy of quality products as it has grown and expanded to the large scale production site that it is today. We are extremely proud of our Scottish heritage and our Tarber t Fine range utilises only Scottish Beef, Specially Selected Pork t­o provide customers with only quality meat which meets and exceeds Scotland's stringent farm and processor assurance scheme standards. 3 O ur delicious ham range includes a wide range of cuts and preparation options, from classic UK sourced Traditional Cooked Ham to the Scottish favourite Ayrshire Cooked Ham, great in a whole range of recipes and sandwiches.
