74 Important Information Information Color differences of stainless steel surfaces on different parts of a KWC faucet made out of stainless steel cannot totally be excluded. Different factors may lead to a slight color differentiation. 1. Slight differences in material compositions may cause stainless steel to reflect light differently (e.g., more blue or more yellow reflections). These differences in steel compositions still fulfill DIN (German Institute for Standardization) material standards. They may occur within one lot of a steel production unit. 2. Different cooling or production treatment parameters may cause surface color variation. 3. Different surface consistencies caused by the production process may also lead to differences in light reflection, so that other colors appear. Our aim is not to have another surface process to guarantee a 100% stainless steel color consistency. To complement the unique KWC faucet design we would like instead to use a puristic surface finish of natural stainless steel in keeping with our design philosophy. By holding production tolerances tight, we try to minimize the slight differentiations in stainless steel surface color. But we cannot exclude them totally. As with high end wooden furniture, where a slight surface color differentiation is accepted, it has to be accepted that high quality faucets, even when made to our exacting standards, may have slight color differences on their surfaces.

Warranty effectiveness Residential installation Except as otherwise specified in this paragraph all products installed in a private residence for normal private household use will carry a LIMITED CONSUMER WARRANTY extending to the original purchaser of the product in the location where the product was originally installed. Chrome and splendure™ stainless steel products carry a LIMITED CONSUMER WARRANTY on the finish. Powder coated products carry a 5 (five) year warranty on the finish. Faucets with LED lights carry a 3 (three) year warranty on the LED. Commercial / marine / outdoor installation All products in a marine, commercial, or outdoor installation will be warranted by KWC AMERICA, INC. for a 1 (one) year period from the original date of purchase. Products or parts replaced during this period are warranted only for the period remaining in the initial 1 (one) year warranty. Limitations This warranty is limited solely to the above statements, and this warranty and any warranties implied by state law will apply only for the periods herein specified.
