The products, which are very popular among users, are mainly designed for the requirements of ventilation systems for industrial and administrative premises, and for manufacturers of ventilation and air-conditioning equipment. The instruments have to be installed in line with the ventilation and air-conditioning directive on filter monitoring and are available in all required sizes and measuring ranges. With air2guide, WIKA offers a comprehensive range of measuring instruments for ventilation and air-conditioning applications. The portfolio includes differential pressure measuring instruments (mechanical and electronic), an inclined tube manometer, a differential pressure switch and a differential pressure transmitter. These instruments are primarily used for monitoring filters and ventilators. In addition an air flow meter and an air velocity transmitter for measuring the volume flow and the air velocity in air ducts and airconditioning systems are available. Using a frost protection thermostat additionally prevents frost damage to the heat exchangers by monitoring the air-side temperature. The two measuring instruments, the mechanical differential pressure gauge and the mechanical differential pressure gauge with analogue display and analogue output signal, are identical in design. In addition the duct/immersion temperature sensor and the temperature and humidity sensor are available to measure the temperature and humidity in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. The airbox combination, which consists of a mechanical differential pressure gauge and a differential pressure switch, is suitable for filter monitoring. The range is completed by an air quality sensor for volatile organic compounds (VOC) and a CO2 sensor used to measure the carbon dioxide content in the air. Key benefits of the air2guide instruments: „„ Easy to install and remove without tools „„ Up to 50 % time saving during installation compared with conventional models „„ Advanced design, optimised packaging for the target market „„ First class delivery quality air2guide application example 8 A2G-05 Eco differential pressure gauge Model A2G-05 The A2G-05 differential pressure gauges are ideally suited to the measurement of overpressure, negative pressure and differential pressure in the measuring ranges 0 ... 50 to 0 ... 12,500 Pa and -25 ... +25 to -1,500 ... +1,500 Pa. The benefit of the A2G-05 in comparison with other manufacturers’ differential pressure gauges lies in the 2-part construction (design) of the gauge. The instruments are quick and easy to install. The measuring element and the mounting ring are separated. This has the advantage that, in case of repairs, only the measuring element or the mounting ring has to be replaced resulting in installation cost savings. Due to its small mounting depth (42 mm) the A2G-05 is ideally suited for installation in doors or walls of clean rooms. Applications „„ For monitoring the differential pressure of air and other non-inflammable and non-aggressive gases „„ Ventilator and blower monitoring „„ Differential pressure monitoring in filters „„ Overpressure monitoring in clean rooms Special features „„ Easy to install and remove „„ Small installation depth (42 mm), for recessed installation in doors and walls of clean rooms „„ Integrated sealing element for installation in the air duct Specifications A2G-05 Nominal size 110 mm Measuring range 0 ... 50 Pa to 0 ... 12,500 Pa, -25 ... +25 Pa to -1,500 ... +1,500 Pa, further +/- ranges on request, also available in the measuring units kPa, in.WC, mmWC and mbar Accuracy class Permissible temperatures Ingress protection Process connection Separating diaphragm Installation Ambient temperature: -30 … +80 °C Medium temperature: -16 … +50 °C Ingress protection IP 54 (optional IP 65) Fixed connection in angular form for hoses of inner Ø 4 mm or 6 mm Silicone Movement Contact-free transmission Pointer Plastic (red mark pointer, optional) Basic case, case for panel/ wall mounting Plastic (UV stabilised) Dial Aluminium Window Makrolon Standard accessories Data sheet www.air2guide.com ±3 % (±5 % with scale range ≤ 0 ... 125 Pa) 3 mounting screws, for further accessories see page 26 PM 07.42 9 A2G-10 Differential pressure gauge Model A2G-10 The A2G-10 differential pressure gauges are ideally suited to the measurement of overpressure, negative pressure and differential pressure in the measuring ranges 0 ... 50 to 0 ... 12,500 Pa and -25 ... +25 to -1,500 ... +1,500 Pa. Humidity- and temperature-controlled ventilation systems are also being increasingly used in air-conditioning and ventilation applications. This measuring instrument determines the relative humidity and the temperature of the ambient air or the air in a duct by means of a capacitive sensor with integrated temperature measurement. The sensor signals are transformed into standard output signals and made available for further processing. The sensor element is protected by a sinter filter. VOC, volatile organic compounds, is the collective name for organic substances suspended in the air like gases or vapours. VOCs include scent and taste particles, tobacco smoke, building chemicals, solvents, disintegrating gases and products of oxidation. VOCs therefore come from a variety of sources. The A2G-80 is a sensitive, cost-effective sensor for measuring air quality. This module uses micro-metallic oxide semiconductor (MOS) technology for the detection of a variety of volatile organic compounds. Applications „„ For measuring the indoor air quality. The greater the output signal of the sensor (0 ... 10 V), the worse the air quality. „„ Mixed-gas sensors detect gases and vapours which can be oxidised (burned): body odours, tobacco smoke, extracts from materials (furniture, carpets, paint coatings, adhesives, etc.) „„ In applications where air quality is essential, e.g. buildings, offices, classrooms, kitchens etc. Special features „„ The set point for the required air quality can be preset on installation. „„ Low consumption reduces energy costs www.air2guide.com Specifications A2G-80 Power consumption 1.2 W/2.2 VA Warm-up time 30 minutes Humidity range Max. 85 % rH, non-condensing Weight 150 g Output signal 0 ... 10 V, load min. 10 kΩ Permissible temperatures Ambient temperature: -20 ... +50 °C Ingress protection IP 20 Data sheet SP 69.01 23 A2G-85 CO2 sensor Model A2G-85 The A2G-85 measures the carbon dioxide content in rooms.
