Tuning Software: SimpleBGC GUI v2.2b2 (Other version will not work for this board!) Step 1. Download the v2.2b2 software “ SimpleBGC_GUI_2_2b2 ” at the official website http://www.basecamelectronics.com/files/v10/SimpleBGC_GUI_2_2b2.zip (Important: only the GUI software with v2.2b2 can be used for this Controller) Step 2. Connect the Gimbal Control Board to the PC computer(Window) only. No battery is needed at the moment. Wait for around 1-2 mins for the driver to be installed automatically. When the driver has been installed successfully, you will get a notice from your computer. If your computer fail to install the Driver automatically, download the driver here and install it manually: http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx Step 3. Run the GUI Software (v2.2b2): SimpleBGC_GUI_2_2b2 → SimpleBGC_GUI(.exe) 1. Run the GUI Software 2. Open the correct COM 26 3. Click the “Connect” button. 4. If the connection is successful. You will see 5. Now you can tuning the the Gimbal. the Firmware is 2.1 Basically we will use the “Basic” and “Realtime Data” Configuration blocks only. 6. As to save your new parameters, click the “WRTE” button. Remarks: As to understand the working principle of PID tuning, you can refer to the “SimpleBGC_manual_2_2_eng”.
