Look at the Roger Touchscreen Mic display to see that there is enough power for the time that the system will be used ‒ but of course, you did check & recharge last night! 3 Attach the Roger X receivers and shoes to the hearing aids, turn on and give the user the hearing aids to put on. Hearing aid shoe and Roger X Hold Roger Touchscreen Mic within 10cm of Roger X I The Roger Touchscreen Mic has a battery life of approx 10 hours so we advise charging daily. 2 Check that the Roger Touchscreen Mic unit on charge has scrolling battery bars. If there are no scrolling bars then the unit is not charging ‒ check the connections. 3 As the Roger X receiver takes its power from the hearing aid battery, it is very important that the battery is in good condition. 4 within 10cm of the Roger X receiver. Tap the Roger Touchscreen Mic Connect button. Check that the user has heard the confirmation beeps. Repeat for second receiver. Check that the display says 'Roger X connected'. Can you hear me? The normal life of a hearing aid battery will be more than halved when used with a Roger X. If in doubt, fit a new battery in the hearing aid.
