LO N G B O W F L E X S TAY S U S PE N S I O N The patent-pending LongBow Flex stay is a radical departure from the norm. We separated the seat stays from the seat tube and lengthened them to maximize the carbon fibers inherent ability to absorb road vibrations. We then optimized the shape and carbon layup of each stay, further enhancing the bike’s ability to flex vertically while remaining stiff horizontally for control and efficient power transfer. w w w.volagi.com
H I G H PE R F O R M A N C E D I S C B R A K E S Disc brakes have been seen on bikes for years, but Volagi was the first to equip a high end carbon road bike with the technology. Disc brakes perform more consistently than traditional rim brakes in wet, dry, hot and cold conditions; even with bent rims and broken spokes. Without rim brake calipers, you have the freedom to run larger tires and full fenders, for peace of mind in less than ideal conditions. One bike, all seasons.

A cyclist riding all day on a double century will inevitably be doing unnecessary work just fighting Mother Nature’s mighty gusts. Every segment of the frame has been optimized to be as aerodynamic as possible while retaining stiffness and strength for precise handling and optimum power transfer.
Quality and customer service are at the core of our company, therefore we assemble and inspect all of our bicycles and frames in our Northern California headquarters upon arrival from overseas manufacturing. Any complete bicycle or frame being shipped to you will have been hand-assembled and rigorously inspected prior to leaving our facility.

We found that the benefits of our patented Long Bow Flex Stay design on our carbon frames, are equally as evident when used in a steel frame.
The Viaje XL is constructed from 4130 Chromoly double butted tubing, mated with a carbon tapered fork with an aluminum steer tube.
Built from a continuous piece of steel tubing to maximize compliance, the stays are welded to a single sculpted lug which is brazed to the curved top tube. The result of this radical frame design is an exceptionally smooth ride quality and one beautifully sculpted piece of rideable art.
The ride quality of the material chosen for this bike is intrinsically smooth with significant road vibration dampening technologies. Wherever the road takes you, the steel used for the Viaje makes for a buttery smooth and responsive ride.

Options are virtually limitless when you can switch from your 23mm wide racing wheels to your 40c knobby 29ers in seconds, all on the same bike. Don’t ever let tire clearance be the limiting factor for where your ride can take you.
There’s no denying the benefits of riding a bike over other forms of transportation. When traveling long distances or simply commuting to and from work on your Viaje, your bike needs to be as resilient as you are.
The Viaje has wide enough clearance for 40c tires or 32c tires with fenders. Ride from pave, to gravel, to single track in one day and then do it all over again.
The Viaje incorporates front and rear fender mounts to keep Mother Nature from ruining your clean duds. Plus, we wanted you to have the option of hauling around extra goodies if need be, so we added rear rack mounts to the bike as well.
