By means of the pull-through aid you can draw the cable TLS VGA/Crimp into the already existing cable channels. 2.) After pulling the cable through the cable channel you remove the heat shrink tube. 3.) Therefore, cut open with a knife along the pull-through aid the heat shrink tube. During the cut make sure not to damage neither the crimps nor the cable! 4.) Once having removed the heat shrink tube you can assemble the contacts in the provided male / female connector. 5.) First read the overleaf cable layout, and check, whether you must assemble male or female 6.) Start with the upper row of contacts (Pin 1 - 5). 7.) Plug the contacts that far in the male / female until an audible noise sounds. 8.) Check by pulling gently the contact whether it tightens. ATTENTION: Don’t pull the contact too strong, or you damage it. 9.) Once having assembled all crimps in the male / female connector, you must connect the contact with the strand to the housing. To this purpose you have a ring shoe in the strand. This must be connected to the housing of the male / female. For this you can put the loop around the screw of the male / female connector, and fix it afterwards. 10.) Before final tightening, make sure having inserted the knurled-head screws at the side in the housing! 11.) The assembly of your 15pol HD male / female is now completed. In the case of having assembled a crimp contact incorrectly, you can get a TLS "pull-out tool VGA" (article:870 4696) for repair. In case, that a crimp contact should become loose from the skinner, you can get a TLS "VGA crimp nipper" (article: 870 4695) for repair.* * You can purchase these two tools at TLS.
