These plastic sweeps can be attached to the house or to the pole mount for the satellite dish where they will shield the coax from damage due to yard maintenance. Avoid return calls to the job site due to jacket damage. Weed eaters eat everything including the outer jacket of coax cable! The flat reinforcing web inside the curve of each 90° sweep makes an audible (quite loud actually) noise when a weed eater string hits the web surface. Also, the web stabilizes the sweep with little soil coverage and provides a suggested depth of burial (see next page). The sweeps have thick walls and have a large inside diameter that can accommodate coax up to RG-6 quad shield with a siamese ground wire.
