Plymouth Public Library invites you to join us for one or all of our fabulous programs during the month of April! April is NATIONAL POETRY MONTH Wednesday, April 12th, 4 pm “Voices from Within” Poetry Reading
This program is a collaboration with the Plymouth County Sherriff’s Department, Quincy College and The Library and features poems written by the inmates at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility.

SHRED!!!! Plymouth Public Library invites you to shred old, unwanted paperwork on Saturday, April 22 from 8 am - 11 am Join us and turn old tax returns, health records and other sensitive documents into shred that will then be recycled. What a wonderful way to celebrate this EARTH DAY! You may bring up to ten banker-sized boxes, for $10 per box. Cash or checks only and all proceeds will be used to fund the care and maintenance of the Library’s lovely lawns and gardens!

The 5th ANNUAL POLICE SERVICES DAY
Families and children of all ages are invited to join us for a fun-filled day. Outside in the library’s parking lot, you will have the chance to see up close all the equipment the Police Department uses to keep the community safe. The Otto Fehlow Meeting Room will feature informational displays about the many ways the Police Department serves our community.

The 12th Annual DPW DAY Celebrating Public Works: Creating a Lasting Impression
The Public Works Department of the Town of Plymouth will hold our 12th Annual DPW Day – rain or shine. DPW Day will feature a display of public works equipment in the library parking lot such as a bucket truck, a loader, a sweeper truck, a plow and much more. The library’s Otto Fehlow Meeting Room will feature individual department contributions such as maps and materials important to the infrastructure of the Town of Plymouth – roads, bridges, signals, mapping, the beaches and much more. Plymouth’s DPW is composed of the engineering, highway, parks, water, sewer, cemetery and environmental management departments. The men and women of the DPW are responsible for the 102 miles of roadways in Plymouth along with our public water supply, wastewater collection and treatment system, parks and cemeteries. This program is free and open to everyone in the community. We celebrate this annual event with popcorn, ice cream and lots of fun!
