1 – Organization Overview As a premier regional service agency, Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) provides leadership that links learners to public schools, the community, the private sector, and public agencies in order to improve education and enhance lifelong learning for all citizens. GISD’s educational leadership impacts instruction, learning, student achievement, productivity, and efficiency.
2 – RFP Objective GISD currently hosts a centralized surveillance system for five school districts. The system is utilizing Avigilon software and cameras. Current, the system is using approximately 180TB of storage and over 300 cameras. Since 2015, county school districts in the county have purchased over 200 new Avigilon cameras. There are also school districts in the county that utilize Exacqvision. GISD is looking for pricing for both Avigilon cameras and licensing and also cameras that are compatible with Exacqvision. Pricing provided in the bid responses will be shared with the local districts as a price list. All provided pricing must be available to any schools served by GISD and pricing must be good through July 31, 2018.
3 – Cameras Specifications 1. Licensing a. Please quote licenses for ACC5 Enterprise and ACC6 Enterprise. b. Please provide quote for license to upgrade from ACC5 to ACC6. c. Please provide pricing for the following: i. 1x single license ii. 4x pack of licenses iii. 8x pack of licenses iv. 16x pack of licenses v. 24x pack of licenses vi. Server Licensing (if necessary) vii. Any other licensing options. d. We will also accept pricing for other vendors. We have several districts that use Exacqvision and Speco. Please provide single license, any multi-pack licenses, and any annual/recurring costs. 2. We currently have the following camera models. Please provide updated pricing on these devices. Day time and low light/night modes preferred. g. Cameras have to support PoE. h. If you are able to provide a catalog discount on the cameras (i.e. 10% off any model), please include that as a line item. i. If you are able to provide a volume discount on the cameras, please include a note on the quantity required for a price break. 4. Optional Services a. Estimated cost to install a single internal camera. i. Include drive time if necessary. b. Estimated cost to install a single external camera. i. Include drive time if necessary. c. Estimated cost to install multiple cameras for one full day.
