This innovative kit allows wireless transmission of signals HD-CVI for two kilometers with the highest, digital quality. In addition to the transmission of video from analog cameras HDCVI Qara enables also the transmission of IP cameras. Qara transmitters work with multi-receivers series - EVIF that use the ONVIF protocol. Advices for customers designing wireless monitoring system Installers who start working with wireless transmission systems sometimes make mistakes which effect the way system works. Below examples of common problems while installing wireless transmission systems. 1. Video loss – connect receiver to analogue monitor which doesn’t generate blue background. Change operating channel. Check or replace power supply adapter. In complex system connect only 1 kit and check its operation. Each next kit should be started individually. 2. Loss of sync or “swimming picture from top to bottom” most common reason for this type of interference is the use of SMPS or power adapter with low current efficiency. In this case, you need to replace the adapter with stabilized transformer or not SMPS one.
3. Snow ratio operation range greater than recommended one. Add directional receiving antenna with greater gain to extend operation range or swap the kit to different one, designed for greater distances. Obstacle between antennas – use repeating point (additional kit) Mind: we lose one operating channel for signal repeating 4. White horizontal stripes appear on image interferences from computer networks. When such interference appears installer should change operating channel, move receiving mast to an interference free place or change operating frequency eg. from 5.8 GHz to 5.2 GHz
5. Distorted, bent image - poor quality SMPS used. Possibility of video cable impedance mismatch or weak video signal ( use impedance resistor 75 Ω parallel video-GND or apply corrective video amplifier between receiver and DVR), this problem increases when poor quality twisted pair converter is used - common mistake made by installers is the use of one power adapter for transmitter and receiver in repeating point
If installer connects analogue and digital kits at one premise, he has to be informed about two important issues:
digital and analogue kits cannot be installed on single receiving mast due to mutual interference. Masts have to be at least 5-7 apart from each other digital CDS5021 kits introduce 400 ms latency what can be slightly inconvenient while controlling PTZ cameras

Advices for customers designing wireless monitoring system. Ad. 1 How many cameras it is needed for? if customer has more than 8 cameras to install or if all 8 channels of work (for 5.8 GHz) are occupied, digital transmission sets CDS series for 5.2 GHz have to be used. CDS set have 21 channels of work. Ad. 2 Will cameras work inside or outside the building? outdoor sets have „h” ending, i.e. CAM-5816h, CDS5021h indoor sets haven’t got that extension at all or end with ”m”. Ad. 3 Are there stationary or high speed cameras ? if stationary – only wireless transmission sets have to be selected, i.e. for 4 cameras – 4 transmission sets if high speed cameras – in addition to video transmission sets telemetry modules CD04 have to be selected as well (number of modules = number of cameras + 1), i.e. for 5 high speed cameras – 5 video transmission sets and 6 CD04 modules Number of telemetry modules working in the same time in one control system is unlimited.

For PTZ cameras have created a set of CAM-9 which allows the transmission of audio-video, and data. Includes: for first camera always choose MASTER set (CAM-9 M / S) and for each subsequent camera SLAVE (CAM-9 S), eg for 3 cameras need a 1 × CAM-9 M / S and 2 × CAM-9 S. Are there any other wireless transmission appliances? If yes - how many cameras is it for? What frequency they operate on? Mind that for 5.8 GHz number of wireless transmission sets cannot be more than 8

Ad. 6 For video transmission antennas have to be „in a line of sight”. If not retransmission have to be considered. Re-transmitter is mounted on high object which „sees” transmitting & receiving point. Each re re-transmitter extends range the device works for. If customer wants to use digital and analogue sets in one monitoring system, has to be informed about 2 very important things: digital and analogue sets cannot be placed on one receiving mast. Masts have to be 5-7 meters away from each other digital sets CDS5021 have transmission delay up to 400 ms, what can be inconvenient if you want to control high speed cameras
